this young girl is asking about her gifts ... and she is a beautiful young christian girl
and she is being told these gifts are from God etc
( which i totally believe and think is wonderful )

yet when i say the same i am demonic and possesed etc because i am a spiritualist

I have read your different posts. You have answered some questions of mine, and I can say that you are one of the nicest, warm and genuine people here. There is nothing demonic about you. Who are we to judge anyone? My grandmother was a woman who "knew" things. She was the light in my sky, my mentor, my friend and she strongly believed in Jesus. Why some people are able to do these things and others not, is a mystery.

It isn't a double standard. I am speaking as one who has experience both of ESP and of Gifts of The Spirit. My ESP abilities were telepathy and precognition. I could also astral project. My Gifts of The Spirit are speaking in other languages (tongues), interpretation of tongues, word of wisdom, discernment of spirits.

When man was originally created, he was given the ability to be joined to the Holy Spirit. This allows a person to become a channel for God's power. Man is also able to communicate with angels. After the fall, this connection was used by spiritual entities.

ESP is caused by an interaction between people and spiritual entities other than The Holy Spirit. Telepathy, for instance. The non-Biblical name for some lower-order entities is "Whisperer." These have the ability to read minds, see a short distance into the future, and plant thoughts and images in a person's mind. So, for instance, a whisperer can read the thoughts of one person and plant it in the mind of another. Telepathy. Precognition is similar, with the entity planting the image of the future event in the person's mind. For the untrained, it is hard to determine which thoughts and images are our own and which have been planted there. Interaction with these spiritual entities can cause a person to exhibit the symptoms of psychotic schizophrenia (as in my case, up until my exorcism).

Word of knowledge is similar to telepathy, except that the source of the information is God The Holy Spirit.

There are 2 kinds of spiritual entity, usually known as angels and demons. The demons goal is control. They achieve this by creating a dependence between a person and themselves. Characteristically, divination/medium sessions (of whatever form) take on 3 stages:- 1) Convince, 2) Predict, 3) Control.

1) Create an assurance that te entity is benign, such as the spirit of a relative. It makes statements that only the sitter or someone known by the sitter is aware of.
2) Predict future events. These may be actual events within the next hour or two, or they can be brought about by manipulating the thoughts of people.
3) Control. When the sitter sees these things come about, they will eventually reach a level where they will not make a decision without a consultation. They will have surrendered their lives to the spiritual entity.

If you don't understand why she believes that the creator of the world would give her gifts, then think just how a loving father so desires to bless His Children, not with things that they can't use, no! though with gifts that would benefit not only the one who receives, it is to be a gift that will bless the rest of the family.
as a believer in Jesus the Christ I know that this same principle applies here to Christians as adopted into the family of God. It is not a religion, it's a relationship with the Living God, made possible only by the saving work on the cross of Calvary, I once was blind and now I see, only through Christ this freedom and salvation can be. Minds that lack understanding can only respond with hatred. It is not their fault. They just don't know better.

I had an experience that made a believer out of me. At the time a companion was suffering with a migraine attack. And anyone who has ever had one will understand how painful it is. We were at the hospital waiting to be seen. Usually you get a shot, go home and try and sleep it off. Hopefully by the next day it will subside.

Anyway, in my frustration and compassion I was compelled to place my hands on her and pray. No sooner than I started she looked up at me and asked if I was praying. (something I didn't do back then) Her pain was completely gone. I was astounded. Wow! Did I do that?

My favorite readings out of the bible are the words of Jesus. In his words, and you can see them for yourself, Jesus stated that all that he can do so to can you. As long as it was done in his name. Jesus healed and raised the dead. So too can we as long as it is done righteously.

The righteous receives gifts and the wicked have it taken from them.

The world is full of double standards... The church are still human beings just as able to make wrong judgements as any other human. I think society thinks the church should be a perfect example of how to live and i think unfortunatly sometimes the church act as if they are perfect. I think the truth is no one is perfect but we can all try. We are all equal with God and we each have gifts from God. I guess most importantly we are all loved by God.

Hi again I answered you question on Thoughts. Ok I may appear to be blunt in my answer but According to the Bible God creates the planet all living things on it. He then creates Adam and Eve he also plants a tree of knowledge and says dont eat from it. He gave me free will or so im told well with that came curiosity and the need to find answers. Firstly it like saying to a child you can play with all the toys except one. The child has no perivous knowledge to what will happen if he play with that toy. The so called garden of eden forever banned form the rest of humanity because of eating the fruit. Where is his forgiveness for that act we told god forgives.
I dont not believe my life was ment to be spent following some set of rules. I do know right from wrong I dont believe in causing pain to others or through ignorance allow other people to suffer by my actions.
History shows that most regilions react badly to so called no believers and kill to reassert the belief. Looking at the bible change was seen as the biggest threat hence the warning about eating the fruit of the tre of knowledge. They can not accept the spirits commicate. Almost every other regilion places great value on their forfathers spirits and even practise rituals to pay homage to them.

You are not evil and what you do is not evil. Those who fear the things you might reveal Like through history have to be evil and destoryed other wise you make them question their faith and once you queston a faith it starts to crumble and fades.

My personal thoughts why is it wrong for me to communicate with the past to help me through the future. After all knowledge can be useful.
Dont eat the fruit from the tree of Knowledge. (holding you back)

I am not a professional religeous leader, but I believe that you may have been given a gift which many Christians do not understand.
As I replied in another question of yours, you need to talk direct to Christians about your gift.
I think most Christians are concerned, not about the gift, but about the beliefs that people with it often have about life, life after "death" and the Universe.
Many places have Christian Spiritualist Churches which have members whose gifting and beliefs may be similar to your own.
You may consider approaching one of them to discuss your beliefs.
