Can any of the Christian bashers give me one example of how Christianity is effecting your life on a personal level? It is my belief that if Christianity Didn't exist, you would be bashing some body else.

I think pagan rebirth has got you dead to rights on this one--if you can argue with him on that one, then you have no heart or soul to worry about

I am not a Christian "basher," but the Christian fundy movement and political regime affects me personally. They are attempting to take away my reproductive rights. They are attempting to make it so that dear friends of mine cannot marry whomever they want. I am forced to use currency that proclaims belief in a god I don't think exists. It is in the works that our children will learn mythology as scientific fact. I am told on a daily basis by someone or another that I can have no morals because I don't believe as they do.

I am more patient with others, I help others more than myself and
give to other before myself.
I pray for others and see the results and changes that god makes in their lives.
I just got a miracle for my 83 yr old father.
He is full of the word, and runs his own business still.
His mind is renewed like the eagles.
My daughter in another state is going to church.
My husband is no more drinking his life away. He is working, 30 miles away from home and running a business.
There is no way to describe how I have been blessed beyond measure!!

My wife and I lost the legal aspects of our marriage (contracted in Massachussetts) because judges in both Mass. and NY catered to conservative Christian lawyers and constituents. We will have to fight-fight-fight to hold on to the rights we do have, even in NYC. It will probably be years before our marriage can be legal, and a generation before it's legal in every state.

Blocking the advancement of stem cell research, which could directly benefit me. I have cerebral palsy, and stem cells could repair the damage done to my cerebellum so that I could be properly coordinated.
