Well, it's called las vegas. If there is no god... who cares? But if there is and he will smite you... well, better go with avoiding the smiting. Play the odds.

I think it has something to do with if you can't see it then question the reality of it. Just because I have never seen a million dollars it doesn't mean that it doesn't exist does it? No we simply believe without out a doubt. Just because I've never seen him doesn't negate his existence in my mind. I believe there is a God. We all pray to him, the same one. He is called by different names depending on what religion you are. All that matters is that God loves everyone unconditionally, even those who don't believe in him.

What our 5 senses don't pickup on becomes very difficult to wrap our minds around. However we have been given a hungry heart for God and righteousness and that leads us to a faith. Here is the real God asking for you.

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Romans 3:23

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10

We all have a desire for spiritual fulfillment. I am intrigued to see so many people try so hard to achieve it. Everybody is convinced that their way is the right way. However, we keep on looking. We keep on looking for that spiritual fulfillment because no matter what we have done or do there's just something not right about it. (I'm sure some of y'all will respond "it's the devil putting doubt in your head". Pleeeease!)

Maybe that little voice in your head will lead you in the right direction. After all, we aren't stupid, just ignorant.

I rather think a more appropriate question is: if god/s are real, why do we always ask if they exist? It makes a whole lot more sense this way.

Perhaps it is because there are so many people who believe in Him that others stop to think, "Hmm...if he's not real, then why are so many people worshipping him?" Ya know? I ask myself that question a lot myself.

Your question should read, "Since God IS real, Why do we always ask ourselves if he is?" Its all about faith baby. Faith in a higher power, something greater than yourself, something greater than life! Have Faith!!
