Religion & Spirituality - 9 October 2006

Look I've posed a couple of questions asked by school kids, I've answered those questions with love and integrity. I put them out to the wider counsel of the world and you know I see some who are following and others that are stuck in their mighty towers. From what I have seen here it is not surprising that there is confusion and dis-unity I will continue to Follow Him. Who will you follow?

Yeah, Muslims are allowed to make jihad camps for their kids, but when Christians make a bible camp (yes, it's extreme, but still 30 notches milder than this http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2005/07/31/HAMAS.TMP)

In fact, extreme bible camp looks like a scout camp compared the the Delta Force when you parallel it to Hamas camp. Yet, even this has Muslims ready to battle. Notice they make their camps seem like Disneyland, when they are not. The responses to this are mindboggling. By the way, the links to extreme bible camp are included on the site. Many of them.


I don't condone either one. I beleive in God, but follow and claim no one's religion. Stuff like this makes me proud that I do not. It's just like comparing the 3rd Reich to a Brownie scout troop comparing Hamas camp to the bible camp.

It`s sick. It was sick back then, and it is sick now, and it is proof to me that not every word in the Bible is "inspired", even if I were to accept the God of the Bible.

I dont want to anger anyone by asking this. Why are christians so defensive? People ask a question and MOST of the time people have some smart or "your going to hell" remark. I asked a question earlier regarding nondenominational christians and allot of people got all upset. I was just curious. Someone else told me some stuff regarding that religion and I wanted to see what people here had to say. I thought that maybe someone would of given a real answer. Most people just asked if I was catholic. Basically what Im trying to say is..Why dont all christians just put the little differences asside whether your (nondom christian, catholic, baptist, orthodox) shouldnt all that matter is that we beleive in GOD.

where are you in life-lost or amazing grace found?? Jesus reaches out with welcome arms Revelation 3vs19&20 forgiveness and true love -Knockin on your heart to come in, when you let him forgive your sins and become your friend. -i prayed it ---it worked for me!!!

Why do you think it is so hard to deliver (preach) the gospel to people who can't fathom the concept of One true Living God. When You preach or spread the good news is it hard for you or does it come easy. Please serious awnsers only -

Why is he referrred to as the descendant of cain?
can someone expain to me the story of cain and abel?
i understand htey are the sons of adam and eve, and cain killed abel, but how does that relate to Grendel?

i am amazed at some of the responces to my quistion about homosexua;ity. i never knew thast kind of hat existed.people called m names said i was sick and a lousy minister.my favorite was that women are not to teach the bible and i must have become a minister on the internet.I see now why pople dont speak up for what they know is right.i think if some could they would burn me at the stake for asking a quistion. whow!!!!!

I was out on a date once and we had gone to the store to get stuff, because this guy was going to cook dinner for me. He was paying, so naturally I grabbed the grocery bags and we headed to the door, he tried to take the bags from me, but i said i was fine, he looked so upset that i let him take the damn bags, then when we got to the door I reached to open it, and he stopped me and opened it for me, with a scowly look on his face.

I guess I should have told him I was a feminist before he came over huh?

Anyways, i figure if a guy opens a door for me, I open the next one for him, is that wrong?

OK, before anyone gets angry, I am not asking this trying to make anyone mad, or to be rude or anything. I've just honestly wondered that. Maybe I don't understand what Atheists are about, but from what I understand, Atheists don't have any religious beliefs. Right? They don't believe in God, so why spend time talking about something you don't believe exists??

Are you, it seems not according to the book of Hebrews chpt 10?
One sacrifice for sin, if you sin again tough no further sacrifice can help. As we are all sinners, and our nature is to sin who can meet this requirement . Don't tell me you've never taken a biscuit without asking, or told a "white lie". We can never be perfect through good deeds or our own works/strength. What hope then?
