It's Aura and yes, some say there is a glow to a persons body. It is supposed to be the energy that is flowing within the body, giving off colors. You can do a search on Aura's... though I don't recommend believing everything you read about it.

I think you are confusintg the aurora borealis, or northern lights with aura...I think the aura is a little bit imaginary but it's nice to imagine a clear uplifting colour surrounding oneself, dark heavy colours don't feel very uplifting.

Use infrared goggles to see your aurora which is really the heat radiated from your warm body. The colours as seen thru' the goggles can give indication of healthy and unhealthy body parts. The area around your liver is especially warm. Around your ears, it's coolest.

You mean, "aura." ;)

I found my aura after meditating and encouraging the opening of my unseen (third) eye. Various colors reflect personality traits, but also reveal emotional states. If someone's aura is a deep blue and small, then that someone is tranquil; if it's large and red, said person is filled with angry energy. A very happy person can often be detected by a yellowish aura that seems wavy.

my spouse did this about a year ago

she lit 2 candles next to a mirror in a darkened room

she looked at herself and it took about 10 seconds and not sure if it's tricks with the eyes and brain but she says she learned how to see other people's aura as well as her own, it was always there she just didn't realize it

kinda like the squigglies or floaties in the eyeball you notice if you squint and look at the sun or bright light, you eyes ignore it until you focus on it

My personal experience with aura's is not visual. I can't see them, but I can feel them as well as some people I know can see them. I know this doesn't answer your question, but I wanted to let you know that they can also be felt, not just seen.

Aura. Seeing them requires you to train yourself to see on the Astral Plane. Colors signify spirituality and strength of character, usually.

And I don't think it's something you can SEE, per se... it's something you can sense. My girlfriend can do it, you'd have to ask her.
