Are you Christians afraid or uneducated? Just wondering because rarely do any of you back up your answers with scripture. What's the matter? Either you don't really believe it or you don't know it. Which is it?

Hebrews 4:12, "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."

A religion needs believers to exist, if people stop believing or convert to another faith, then the old religion dies, so,a religion needs "new blood" to live. Or, a crisis of faith could trigger a "mutation", forming a new species-of-religion. (eg Muhammad, jesus). Seems like even religions obey Darwins laws!
(and yes i know selection in nature is sex based, but if you look, there are parallels for that in religious growth also)

It seems that some people are having a hard time understanding what I typed before, so I will try to make it really really simple. If total freedom is chaos(freedom without boundries is chaos) and total chaos is total is free will(being able to do what ever you want and being able to do it to who ever you want to), and hell is the ultimate affirmation of free will(a place were people go who reject God and His ways-love, mercy, and justice-), can there be happiness for the regular person who lives a good live but rejected God and His order and finds them selves among people, demons, and the devil who rejected God and LIKE to rape, torture, beat, and mutilate others?

Similarly, when a jim darwin question hits 100 answers, will he stop using yahoo answers, or set a new goal, say 150.

Do you hit your goal and try and go farther? Faster?

Did we stop at the 4 minute mile?

Did we stop at the edge of the ocean for fear of falling off?

100?

have always encouraged him to use his gift of music for this purpose (he plays guitar) But he still also wants to play his rock music and possibly be in a rock band as well, should I make him choose one or the other? Does it matter that he does both? I'm hoping he'll eventually feel and get into more of the Godly music and make up his mind on his own, or should I make it for him?

ALL animals pratice homosexual traits execpt for birds and God created it. Man has perverted sex not God. As far as the person who gave the scripture concerning a Pastor with one wife it is a "Bishop" not a Pastor. I find it funny when people quote the word and really do not know the word

Like when the Dungeon Master isn't getting his way and starts making up attributes or creatures... It's like how much can we add to this thing to make it add up in our heads even though it doesn't make any sense to begin with and we're just making it worse.

sometimes, the truth is found in questioning the authority to demand obedience itself

or, the answer can be found in the act of asking the question itself, it presents itself to you just by asking not blindly accepting

so which religions tolerate questions, or asking for leaders to validate thier claims? or the claims of sacred texts to be proved?

I know of 3..
