I HATE it when people put the blame on
"GOD"...!!!!!!! People wreck their car and die....some say
"God said it was their time to go" or even worse "God punished them". Man decided to make the automobile, decided to
build roads to drive faster, decided to drive while impaired
(alcolhol,cell phone, high speed,,etc) and THEN Man
decided to blame GOD....!!!!! Give it a break...!!!!!!!!
2 countries go to war and each says GOD is on their side.
At least 1 is wrong, probably both...!!!!!!
If Christians believe that Jesus is the "Prince of Peace"
then they can NOT be in favor of war. Jesus knew that Man
was headed for these kinds of disasters in the future(our present)
and that is why he preached LOVE and PEACE with yourself
and others...!!!!!!!! God, Jesus,...etc....is NOT with either
country in times of war.......They are left to be responsible
for their own actions as are each and every person
on this earth..........

This question probably belongs in the Politics section, but why not...

I never heard him or anyone else say that God told him to invade. The decision was made on the basis of intelligence that the whole world had at the time. He did what he thought was the best course of action. Personally, I think he was shortsighted, as the plan did not take into account the afterwar impact and rebuilding nor did it actually seize the stockpiles of WMD (which I think likely made there way out of the country during the build up phase), but that is just my opinion.

Using spy tecnology, the government saw that Iran was making nucs and invaded Iraq so it would be easier to take action if need be. It is just like playing the game "Risk Globel domniation". The government knows things they CAN NOT tell us and as a result, do things we don't understand. I think God put him in office because of his morals. He does have a lot of good ones. But no man is perfect. In 30-40 years the truth about the Iraq war will come out, it always does, if we are not in a nuc war with everyone because of the N.Korea! Think about this, if Iran makes nuc warheads and teams up with one or two other islamic country with nucs( and or starts nucing Israel) America will have no fronts to fight on and WILL have to use nucs to fight wars! Pretty world right? We better start enjoying the fresh air and trees now! Oh yea, start stocking up on bottled water and can goods.

The “just war” doctrine requires rigorous consideration to determine if defense by military force is legitimate. Offensive war is never justified. All the following considerations must be true to justify war:
1. The damage inflicted by the aggressor on the nation or community of nations must be lasting, grave, and certain;
2. All other means of putting an end to it must have been shown to be impractical or ineffective;
3. There must be serious prospects of success;
4. The use of arms must not produce evils and disorders graver than the evil to be eliminated.

It has been argued the pre-war Iraq:
1. Was not inflicting lasting, grave and certain damage to the United States;
2. Could have been influenced by diplomatic and international sanctions.

It is argued now that:
3. There is not a serious prospect of success;
4. The use of arms has produced evils and disorders greater than the evil eliminated.

The "new" philosophy of the United States to launch wars to get them before they get us can even be argued as an offensive war which would not be justified.

With love in Christ.

He certainly didn't work it out for himself....the man really is an idiot for someone who after all allegedly in charge of by far the most powerful country in thr World. If they don't need suitable UN resolutions to invade Iraq and bring about regime change then they can do pretty much as they like....

Your question is a good one.....but let's remember that Bush is a puppet on many people's strings....and all things will be advised to him by a myriad of professional advisers.....I doubt if anything as serious as a war....and a very controversial one at that.....is in any way determined by him.....let's hope not.....there again the disaster that has ensued possibly suggests to the contrary....

I'm fine with the war mainly because it has already come to bear good fruit. Sadaam Hussein has been a thorn in the side of every presidential administration. He has committed genocide on his own people and been a threat to the surrounding countries...now he's behind bars. People can say what they want about the war being about oil...a dictator has been removed from power and that's important to me.
No one here can say whether Bush was lead by God - that's between him and God.

Here is a better one for you.

The FACT is this: What George Bush does with Iran is 500% based on scripture my friend.

He has already consulted one person in general for biblical advise as what to do.

You sit back and watch Iran. Let's see what happens.

Bush knows now, what will happen. That's why, he has not made Egypt a new landfill with Iran.

It's going to happen. Period. It's just the matter of. When.
.
.BTW: You hear of: Road map to Peace?

This was designed by the man I'm talking about. Not Bush.

This is a holy war. The Islamic people hate Israel because they believe that Ishmael, Abraham's first born son is in titled to there land. God gave the blessing to Issac instead and the Muslims have been mad ever since.this war is so much bigger than bush.It will never end until Jesus comes back and defeats Satan. Good verses evil.

God is LOVE and PEACE! I'm a Christian in public and in private, but I also let my anti-Bush sentiments be known whenever the opportunity arises. There are PLENTY of Christians who disagree with Bush. For some reason the right wing fanatics try to represent themselves as the only Godly people. The fanatic right wingers are usually quick to judge others, also. Just what the Bible says NOT to do! Also one of the ten commanments says "Thou shalt NOT KILL"!
