Square roots of negative numbers are used in science and engineering to give us things like computers, airplane, etc. WOW! Imagine using imaginary things to produce real objects! Humans are POWERFUL! We have even CREATED GOD!

How sad. Clearly you need God in your life...the one who created us, not the other way around.

God bless!

As an atheist, if I say something like "God is imaginary", I believe I am simply telling the truth, not actually trying to offend anyone. Let's move this statement to more neutral ground - Do Christians ever say things like "Zeus is imaginary" or "Ishtar is imaginary"? Well if they did, I would agree with them! I believe all those gods are imaginary too. As Richard Dawkins once said, everyone is an atheist when it comes to almost all gods - atheists just go one further. The arguments for believing in imaginary beings could be used to get people to believe ANYTHING, and is not just restricted to God-belief(s). UFOs, Big foot, etc could be supported with the same basic formula. The arguments almost always involve question begging, special pleading, bait-and-switch, smoke and mirrors or moving the goal posts or trying to keep their beliefs sheltered in a theological "safe zone", where reason cannot penetrate. Con-artists routinely use similar arguments to hood-wink people out of their money.

No, God is far from imaginary. I've heard and read all kinds of arguments on this subject...the best answer I've ever found is.... think of everything in life that you find beautiful or what you think is the "best" thing you've ever seen...and be honest.... Something with such magnitude couldn't possibly have come about with God's intervention. Bless you and I'm not sure how old you are, but look back to this answer 10-15 years from now.
It'll show you not only where God is and his true existence...it'll show you where you are in this path called life - how far you've grown and in what direction.

Nope, its more like all particles and fundamental forces existing in 10 dimensions a la superstring theory and we can only see 4 of them, including time. Now if miracles really did not happen .... but they do, and us sitting in 4 dimensions can't explain it! Revelation comes from beyond 4 simple dimensions. God can talk to you but you can't break through to God on your own. He has to open the path, on your request.
Imaginary numbers are a misnomer used at a time when they were not clear. However imaginary numbers exist as part of a complex number system, though not as part of a natural number system(for that matter neither do fractions exist as part of a natural number system, but they still exist nevertheless)

Nope you got it wrong from the word go.God created everything.Even computers are his work. He gave someone the wisdom to put this and that together to make something new.Man cannot create, only make. Creating is to make something from nothing.Even an artist needs a medium( paint, stone or metal) to make an artwork. If he could say let there be paint and it appeared out of nothing he would be able to create.

The essence of what you're saying I've agreed with for some time; the illustration is a new one on me, and a pretty darn good one.
