I like the saying "preach unto all the world...and when you have to, use words". Loving people is the best way to preach the gospel. I think some people just say words and that makes it difficult. Also it is important to be prayed up, to know the word, and to wear your armor.

certrvtech,
I am much better here on this form of communication than I am in person, I think. The neat thing about this way of communication is that you never know who will see it. It's archived too, so that anyone who might wonder about a particular answer will go to the question asked and hopefully find conviction in the truth of it.
So no, I find it a lot easier to preach the Gospel. The many forms of reference I have accumulated are consulted without a seeming pause, and the editing I can do behind the scenes make me seem a lot more knowledgable than I actually am. Tools for the trade!

What's hard for me, is when i'm talking to someone, and we agree on so many issues, like the fact that holidays came from pagan sources and the world has an accounting with God soon, but then one subject such as the Trinity or immortal soul just won't let the conversation go farther. Sometimes , no matter how many scriptures u use, people will not let go of long cherished beliefs.

It comes easy for me. I can't help but be grateful for all that God has done for me, and teaching those who ask why I'm positive and upbeat is a joy.
God didn't ask me to turn off my brain, either...at work, so many people can't believe that I'm actually a Christian, and that this doesn't offend my intellect. If you look at science as simply another source of information, and not the magikal font of deep, end-all knowledge, Christianity is a very logical faith. Theologians are required to take logic and philosophy in addition to their religious studies, and both of these disciplines are quite compatible with Christian thought.

The most powerful thing you can do for another is pray! Ask God to guide your conversation with this person. Remember you can not transmit something you haven't got! See to it that your relationship with him is right. You must also live your faith. You are an example, a living testiment of Gods power, love and mercy. Sometimes actions speak louder than words. If it is Gods will, he will use you as an instrument, but in his time, in his way. My best advice is to pray, pray, pray- it is so powerful. It is very difficult to speak with non-believers, I only find comfort when I trust in Gods love and I understand they are at a different place in their journey and God will only use my expierance to help them if it is in his will.It is all about acceptance and trusting in God.

See your going about it all wrong people don't wanna listen to what your saying if your actions aren't living up to it! Most people say they don't believe because they see people who claim to be Christians but live like heathens. The best way for you to get the gospel out is to go to those people in need and meet their need just like Jesus said ! when people see that your doing what your saying then they to wanna learn how to be this way. But if your just lip service your just a bunch of hot air and nobody wants to hear it.So remeber your actions always speak louder then your words!

I think that so many non-Christians are very much set in their belief systems. It can be hard to witness to someone. But, I have to agree with another poster- your life is the best witness. Think about it- if more Christians realized this and tried to live a Christ-like life, I don't think there would be so much criticism on Christians. One of the major criticisms I hear is that Christians can "talk the talk" but don't want to "walk the walk".

I don't think it is hard at all...I think it is more important as a Christian to practice what we preach, for our own lives and in the end the lives of others. So I try to live faithfully and in that way I preach by living. Prayers =)

Because people are blinded by Satan the Devil. Jesus preached the truth & was constantly rejected by those who were involved with false worship. It's a little difficult because no one wants to be rejected, we all want peace, but lies have been fabricated in all aspects of life that when we are told the truth we are blinded because we are "familiar with what we grew up learning"
