he called and said that if the kids come back to me that he will give up his rights as their father....how can a dad do that...i agreed to let them move in with him for financial reasons he was having trouble making ends meet paying me child support....so in turn i let them go with him and paid him support...not as much as he paid me because he makes more than me,,,,now he wants to give up his parental right.....do you think hes just hurt and mad,,,or should i go ahead and agree to give him what he wants....very confused here

i have been a christian pretty much since i was born. the church i started out attending was a bit dodgy as they taught the kids that they have to be a christian or they will go to hell. this has sorta scarred me and until just last year, i was being a christian out of this fear. then darrell scott, father of rachel scott came and spoke at our school. his speech about his daughter that died in the columbine shootings really struck me and i really really want to go further. please tell me how i can 'feel' God more and have the guts to give my life FULLY to him. my life is half half at the moment.... thanks!!

There is a show on TV that I really think is obscene and I would like removed. It makes fun of Jesus and I really don't like it. I was sitting there when the commercial for it came on and it really disturbed me. I was thinking about how wrong it was. Then I thought....If that were a show promoting Jesus on a regular TV station other than the Christian channel than some non-Christian would have something to say about it and eventually have it removed. I want to know where I should start. Serious answers only. Abusers will be reported.

and its about the truth or lies about the christian faith,first the defence ,well its true because its written down in a book that has been re written more times than i care to remember and up to 300 years after the incident,,and its all about faith,,,prosecution but where is the evidence of fact,you have no proof other than heresay,i need go no further the defence has condemned itself,,,judges decision christians you are guilty of lying and wake up to yourselves,

the woman who speaks to god from her heart while she works in her garden, enjoying his mairacles and trying to help them grow while singing joyful songs with no one around to impress,knows in her heart what's right and tries to treat people the way she would want to be treated if she were in their place OR the "good christian woman" who has the church service memorized and knows every hymn, never misses a sunday unless she's deathly ill, and then tells everybody just how ill she was, always puts ten in the plate and occasionally sings with the choir, has forced all four of her kids to go to church until they turn eighteen, and hassles all who know her to come to church with her next sunday, whether they like it or not?

I dont understand how you can follow half of Science and History but not the other half because it contradicts a beleif that is purely "Faith". Either you belief Scientific principles and proof or you do not. Either you believe in history and historical proof or you do not. Why is it okay to believe these two fields of study right up tp the point of it contradicting your "Faith".

I have recently accepted the Lord, but now don't know what the next step is. I told my pastor, but he kind of left me hanging. Any suggestions as far as good devtionals, or a good book of the bible I could start reading? for all that He has done for us, died on the Cross, being tortured, cut in his sides, beaten, spit on, cursed at, nails through his hands, thorns in his forhead, accused, and for his loved ones to see him die! im a very young 12yr. old believer and i want to nkow why people also rely on science to prove God wrong, but science can also be wrong like with the titanic when science tried to porve it couldn't sink but where is it now?

Archeaological Evidence of Bethseda:

Recent archaeological research confirms both the existence of the pool of bethseda and it had 5 porticoes. John 5:2. what does this mean? it lends credibility that John was written by John who as an eyewitness knew Jerusalem before it was destroyed 70 AD.
