Seek God with all your heart and soul...Dont think of it as getting out of hell, but living your life here for Him, and getting to be with your Heavenly Father in the end. How is your church right now? Do they still teach "believe or go to hell?" Id say find a place that you feel comfortable with. Maybe if you are younger, find a church that people your age attend, maybe atrend a youth group. Most of all, pray to the Lord, have others pray for you. Ask him to reveal himself to you, and seek Him ALL THE TIME, not just when you are lonely. Live for Him, and He will bless you.

I really want darrell scott or someone from rachel's family to speak at my school, it would really change people's mind about christianity and inspire alot of people, rachel's my hero for what she did, the biographies are great too, there's 4 of them(written by her parents), you should read them- rachel's tears, rachel smiles, chain reaction, and the journals of rachel scott. Just everyday get into the word meditate on it and don't look at the time because that gets you distracted, keep a journal and write down your spiritual walk, when you look back you'll see how far God brought you. I've done that for years and I'm amazed at how far God brought me, it's amazing, get some good study books and study them. Take time on it, don't just rush through them.

Well, it's like this. You can be a Christian by name or inheritance (like you inherited your last name from your parents), or you can be a Christian by a personal knowledge of the One who loved you and gave His life for you.
Romans 3:23 says, For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, and 1 John 1:8 says, If we say that we have no sin we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 1 John 1 goes on to say in the very next verse, If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Jesus bore our sins on His own body on the cross (1 Peter 2:24).
Those who come to Jesus, come to the cross where He bore our sins. Have you confessed your sins and asked for forgiveness? If you've never felt the conviction of sin, then there really isn't a basis to come to Him. If the cross was the penalty for your sin and mine, then that's where we come to when we come to know Jesus. Jesus surrendered His life on the cross. We surrender our lives to Him at the cross. This is how we give our life to Him - at the cross. We see our sins as exceedingly sinful, we ask His forgiveness.
What He does from there is make us a new creature. He comes to abide with us and opens the way for us to abide in Him (John 15). It's an exchange. You exchange your life for His, and He comes and lives on the inside of you by His Spirit (Ezekiel 36:26-27).
And when you fully surrender your life to Jesus, that's when the fun begins! You'll take some flack for giving up your life to have His life on the inside of you. Just look around here. But He's soooooooooooooooooooooooooo worth it! If He weren't I'd have bailed a long time ago (I've been walking with Him a little over 12 years now).

I'd say if you want to have a more fulfilling life, dispense with the dogma. Your negative reaction to it early in life was a good instinct. Find God on your own terms. Define him/her in your own way. Don't let this or that group tell you what to think or feel about God. Do that, and most likely you'll experience that closeness stronger than ever.

Here's a simple fact, which has been said many times, although most people do not hear it: God is love.
It's just that simple. He is called by many names, but all are one in the same.
If you have love for yourself, then God is within you. Kindness is sometime people are born with, but most are driven away from it.
Do you think Jesus was killed for being cruel to others, nope, he's was killed, just for healing, sharing, teaching and most of all showing unconditional love to everyone.
Evil is explained as; murderious people, meaness, cruelness, everything which is opposite of love. People call it influence of the devil, because humans need a (Face on crime or Evil) in order to identify with it.

Person will always feel half until he/she finds the Truth (Islam). Don't stop researching and you will find it. Do not constrain yourself to Christianity only. May God guide you to the Straight Path!
