I feel that I do not have the ability to decide from all the world's religions which one is correct. What makes religious people so certain that they havn't chosen incorrectly? Are they really THAT sure of themselves?

I saw something on the history channel the other day that the righteous would oversee the punishment of everyone else.

To me that's why Jesus judges us is because he knows what it's like to be human, I guess he just chooses those that are pure enough of heart to make good/fair judges.

Does anyone else know of this idea?

Are Joseph's coat of many colors and the garment he left in the hands of Potiphar's wife symbolizing the same thing or different things? In both cases, the loss of the article of clothing precedes a loss of freedom: being sold into slavery and being incarcerated in the prison.

Please don’t use fales pre-judgment, you have good intelligent brain to decide yourself, visit the below site and comment on the contents, use your mind, logic and find answers that you may don’t know, it is good to learn about Islam and decide your self, is it really the latest true religion, that will save you from hellfire, as Christianity and Judaism were true as well at their timing before Islam.

Please be realistic when you answer respectfully and without using pre-judgements and attacks, discuss freely once you have clear and true picture about Islam.

Abortions: So you think your saving a life? Do you think your doing something good? Not all people who get abortions are sluts... Most of the time they spend there last dime on it so there child wouldn't have to suffer... Most children who are adopted are abused and treated horribly. But you don't care do you?

Gay marriage: Explain to me why this matters so much to you... you can't let people live happy lives? Did it ever hurt you? Does other peoples happiness not matter to you? How would you like it if I became president and tried to take away straight marriage? (not possible but a what if...)

Stem Cells: Why would you be against this of all things? They don't have to use fetuses they can use umbilical cords as well... Would you really take someones who IS born life away just for the cost of one that hasn't started? I know it may seem barbaric. If you had a chance to save someones life before you were born would you take it?

Please answer these questions according to your opinion (I am insanely curious)! The answer doesn't have to be big and detailed, just simply stated. Thanks bunches!!
1. Who is God?
2. How did the world begin?
3. What is your purpose on earth?
4. What will happen to you after you die?
5. What is sin?
6. Are all people sinners?
7. Do people become sinners because they sin or do people sin because they're sinners?
8. What is God's punishment for sin, if any?
9. Are there penalties that occur on earth for sins in a person's daily life?

... if he will simply accept Jesus into his heart, and that unbeliever still rejects that message---

Is the unbeliever at fault for rejecting Jesus if the messengers bringing him the Good News are no good at their job? Surely then the teachers are at fault for failing to persuade what is apparently obvious? Some unbelievers, after all, weigh evidence very critically, but that's not their fault either, if they are simply well educated and questioning of assumptions. A good preacher should be able to persuade the most militant evolutionist atheist ever ... shouldn't he? Shouldn't a bad preacher be eternally damned for failing this simple task of bringing the unsaved to Christ?

I have always been curious to know what religious people who are well-educated believe-- especially those who are in the life sciences. Do you believe in evolution? How do you justify your faith in light of human knowledge and the scientific method?

Or does god teach people to be moral?

This is an extension of my previous question. I believe that a person can learn the concept about being a good person by their faith, however, does it actually just come down to what these people learn in their churches?

Many claim that they have a direct relationship with god, but the concept or being has never been proven. So, people do not have conversations with him. They pray with no answers.
