Through the use of occult technologies or similar arcana, is it possible to 'hold someone in place' by affecting their shadow in some way?....There was a reference to this in an article I read some months ago and I haven't been able to find the website again; it's like it never existed....If you know about this or other, similar "Shadow Magicks", please contact me...Again, serious answers only, please!!! I look forward to all of your responses!!!

God loves all.
We are all products of Him, as we are created in God's image.
If people hate His creation, they in effect, hate Him.

What are your views?

I have heard this often, that America is anti-Christian and Christians are constantly discriminated against. Any Christians care to share how exactly you have been discriminated by other Americans or American laws? What about atheists or other non-Christians? Ever face discrimination?

Every day words are written and read here. Often I see people criticized for the words they use to express their point of view.

How much responsibility does the reader bear for his/her reaction to words, and how much responsibility for the reader's reaction should be placed upon the writer?

I often see and hear how Christians beleive that morality would cease to exist if it were not for Jesus Christ and the Church. How does one rectify that position when it comes to people such as Mark Folley?? Here is a man who was active in Church, was the Head of the Caucus for Missing and Exploited Children - and was exploiting children.

IS Folley right for blaming his actions on the fact that he was (unproven allegation, BTW) molested as a teen by a Catholic priest?? Or that he was under the influence of alcohol (apparently while on the House floor whilst voting....lovely, eh?) Perhaps aocohol and religion should be outlawed in this country, as they both seem to cause so many problems.....
Why didnt Folley just blame Satan for his actions, rather than blaming the Church and alcohol? Wouldnt that be easier for Republicans to beleive?
Actually, what I want to know is why Folley doesnt just stand up and take responsibility for his own actions....Why blame others? Coward.

Although I don't entirely agree with everything he says, I always think he makes some excellent points about religion and this article is no exception. I think it's a must-read for the people who post in this section. (People of faith, atheists and agnostics alike) Be sure to read the entire thing, as he tends to wind around to his points little by little, and you can get a false impression by just reading parts of his essays.

Put yourself in my hands. No, don't ask about my credentials; you have to have faith! Don't ask what medical school I attended; you have to have faith! Don't ask whether I know anything about medicine; you have to have faith! "The heart has its reasons the mind knows nothing of," so forget all that rationalistic garbage, have faith, and get under my scalpel!

What percentage does a member have to achieve for you to believe they have something relevant to say?
