We can never be saved because of what we do; we can only be saved because of what Jesus Christ has already done for us. Let me explain.

Our greatest problem can be put in one word: sin. Sin cuts us off from God, and sin also keeps us out of heaven. But how can we get rid of our sins? We can't erase them or cause them to disappear by ourselves; we don't have the power. The only way we can get rid of our sins is for someone to come along and take them away for us.

And that is exactly what Jesus Christ did for us. We are weighed down by the burden of our sins—but Jesus took that burden upon Himself when He died on the cross for us. To put it another way, He took the punishment we deserve when He went to the cross in our place. The Bible says, "For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God" (1 Peter 3:18).

What must you do? Simply believe that Christ has taken away your sins, and then receive Him into your heart and life. The Bible's promise is for you: "To all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God" (John 1:12). Become God's child today by asking Christ to come into your life.

This is a message I wrote to someone a waile back. It looks like you are ready to hear the same thing.

-------------------------------

The way to christianity is kind of like a story, and you finish it yourself at the end. This is how it works:

First off, humans messed up, no one can deny that though we are basically owned by God, we have all sinned, cursed, and worshiped false idols. It even says that in the bible:

"For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God" - Romans 3:23

This statement might not seem like that big of a deal, but there's a penalty for our sin, and It's Hell. Doing good stuff rocks, but it's not the way to heaven. You can't cover up the smallest bit of your sin by flooding your life with good deads.

"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." - Romans 6:23

But wait, there's more! Jesus came to earth. The price of sin is death (or Hell) but Jesus paid for that! It's amazing what happened on the cross 2000 years ago!

"But God demonstrates his love for us in this: While were still sinners, Christ [God's only son] died for us. Since we have therefore been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath through him!" - Romans 5:8-9

Time for you to finish the story. Jesus has basically already saved you, but you have to accept his ticket to heaven still! It sounds easy... and it is!

"That if you confess with your mouth 'Jesus is Lord' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved." - Romans 10:9 -10

If you believe everything I just said, Satan has just lost his grip on you, and there's a party in heaven! You see, as God sits on his mighty throne, he doesn't view us as peasents. He is our father, our savior, redeemer, and friend! Again, there is a party in heaven. This message should not be taken lightly, because it it not religion. Religion is Man's attempt to reach God. This is a relationship, God's attempt to reach man!

i dont understand. do you mean when you get there or just being saved?

when you get there...that shouldnt be hard, lol.

and being saved is believing jesus is the son of god who died for your sins. but only believing is not enough (im sure youve heard this, but the devil believes in god too), you have to accept him into your heart. your life is meant to be a "walk with god", sort of like how it was always supposed to be, only a little :"strained" because of sin. but spending time with god (doing what you know to do, like praying, only normal, as you would talk to a friend) is the best investment you can make. :)

Romans 10:9-13 (King James Version)

9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

11For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

12For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

13For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

The Holy Bible says in Psalms 16:11
"11Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore." Psalms 16:11. What more could you ask?

Read the bible storybook and imagine you are one of the many fictional characters depicted, then dream a bit creatively so that you actually convince yourself that a fictional character actually exists for a while. Then, when you wake up you can face reality again !

Let not your heart be troubled: you believe in God, believe also in Jesus. "In my Father's house are many mansions: ......I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there you may be also".

Romans 10:8But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
