The mind controls the body...In fact, it's infinitely stronger than the body, but the mind and body are 'designed' to work together...
If you tell yourself that you can do something repeatedly, then eventually, you'll be able to do it...The power of positive (or negative) thought!!! (Do a web search for 'affirmations' and see what comes up!) The question you posted is in fact an occult axiom...Another phrase that goes along with the one you posted is "energy follows thought". In my humble opinion, our imagination is the greatest, yet least exercised 'sensory organ' we have. Did you know that your subconscious mind does not differentiate between things that actually happen in the physical world and things that you might imagine happening? Food for thought!!!

What this means is, whether you say, "I can," or "I can't" the outcome is assured. You are right and correct in each case.
The moment someone says, "I can't," they never will.
The moment someone says, "I can," they will be successful to one degree or another. Consequently,
Whatever you choose, the outcome is assured.

i think it means something like a self-fulfilling prophecy. if you think you can't do it, you are right -- you can't do it. but if you think you can do it, then you can do it. interesting idea.
