As a Muslim, I have nothing against Jews. Jews are brothers in religion, the People of the Book and children of Abraham (Peace be Upon Him). Only Muslim extremists are fighting Zionist Jews, not all Jews and vice versa. Muslims don't believe in another Messenger to come as the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was, is and will be the final prophet. If you are mentioning Imam Mahdi and Jesus then yes. The Jews are waiting for their Messiah to come. I do not see any WWIII going on. If they keep doing this, then someones got to go their and end it FOR GOOD. Jewish and Muslim leaders are really lazy people and should co-op and find an agreement because neither side is innocent and someone should step in and end this conflict.
Peace...

Muslims disagree with most of the Bible, including the Jewish Old Testament.
At the time of Jesus the Jews split into two camps. A minority of Jews believed that Jesus was the Messiah, but the majority of Jews led by the religious hierarchy rejected Jesus as the Messiah. The Jewish religion that rejected Jesus still expect a Messiah to come. Muslims expect their own version of the Messiah, the 'Mahdi'.
It is likely that this Messiah of the Jews, when he comes, will also eventually be accepted by the Muslims as the Mahdi, and also be accepted by corrupt elements within the Christian religion as the true Messiah.
There is little doubt that this Messiah/Mahdi will embark on a military campaign and attempt to set up a World Government and one world religion.
The world will certainly be plunged into a period of widespread war, whether this can be called world war three is not certain.
What is certain is that this Messiah/Mahdi will be more evil than any tyrant the world has ever known. He will claim that Jesus was not the true Messiah, but an imposter. And those Christians who remain loyal to Jesus will recognise him as the Anti-Christ.
After he has wreaked havoc on the world, God will intervene and he will be destroyed.
The Jews will then realise that Jesus was the true Jewish Messiah, and will become followers of Jesus.
This is my understanding of what has been prophesied.

Arabs and Jews are both Semitic races and there is very little genetic difference between them. The Jews(Hebrews) comprise two of the original twelve tribes of Judah, the remaining ten tribes were assimilated by other peoples of the Middle East. Jews and Palestinians are therefor, much closer to each other than either would willingly admit.
This is probably a significant factor in the origins of the similarities of their religions:
Same religious day, Friday.
Halal & Kosher - in practice the same.
Prohibition on Pork.
Prohibition on sex during mensturation.
BIG DIFFERENCE:
Isalm is a religion of conversion while Judahism is a religion of exclusivity, preseverving the purity of the Jewish race under the religious cloak.

Muslin is a type of fabric and Jewish people have a long history as tailors....
Islam professes to supercede (replace) Christianity, which in turn claims to supercede Judaism. So the sole reason why Islam gives significance to Jewish holy sites like Jerusalem and the Temple Mount is because of their significance to Jewish history.
Add this to your list of sound bytes -- Israel wants to exist and to leave in peace. The Arab and Muslim nations want Israel to be completely eliminated from the face of the earth. If the Arab and Muslim peoples allow Israel to live in peace, there will be peace.
The way it's going, it's the Holy Roller Christians in the U.S. who are going to start WWIII. John Ashcroft is a Pentacostal preacher -- hmm, maybe that's why there was no viable exit strategy for Iraq. These people believe in the Rapture, that it will come soon, and that it will involve major destruction in the Mideast. And some of them actually control the means to literally bring down Armageddon.

For your information muslims dont believe in killing unbelievers, as it is a religion of peace and it clearly states that religion cannot be forced upon someone. Both the Muslims and the Jews share a history. The muslims believe in the Prophets that the Jews believe in. But the differences arose after Mohammed (PBUH) was chjosen as a prophet. The Jews were expecting another prophet but as he wasnt from the jewish line as the other prophets were they refused to accept Mohammed as a prophet. However true jewish believers did eventually realise and reverted to Islam. Only the non jewish believers didn't so by rejecting the Prophet they also rejected the religion which perfected their religion as it was. And therefore they don't have a special treatment from God as they like to believe that they do, as they rejected his signs.

Muslims do not believe in killing non-believers, this is a hideous stereotype. I am not sure about your opinion of the Jews, but I will say that there is a huge difference between Judaism and Zionism. This website should clear a few things up.

There's very little difference in the orthodox beliefs. Islam is based on Moses' law and Prophets are recognized except that orthodox Jews don't recognize Mohammad as a prophet.
