Through the use of occult technologies or similar arcana, is it possible to 'hold someone in place' by affecting their shadow in some way?....There was a reference to this in an article I read some months ago and I haven't been able to find the website again; it's like it never existed....If you know about this or other, similar "Shadow Magicks", please contact me...Again, serious answers only, please!!! I look forward to all of your responses!!!

It would make sense that if you bind one's shadow, they also are bound. If I recall correctly, there's something about nailing the shadow to the floor, or the wall, but I can't remember where I heard/read that. But if it works in the first place, it would only hold as long as there's light to cast a shadow. If the light goes away, so does the shadow, and the binding.

Not that I'm encouraging doing this...

it's theoretically possible based on the fact that a shadow and being move as one, if you freeze the shadow, you freeze what is casting it--at least until darkness comes--the closest I've actually seen to this in the occult though is spells that involve nailing a persons shadow to the floor--to cause a lover not to stray or keep somebody from following you

This is a serious answer, that's what you requested. I'm glad you are looking forward to it.

Seriously, belief in magic, god, fairys, telepathy, UFO's, astrology, bigfoot, healing touch, auras, indigo children, reiki, iridology, homeopathy, crystal therapy, leprechauns, qi gong, dowsing, etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc...

all these "ideas" belong in the garbage heap of civilization. This is the 21st century, we can no longer afford to carry around the superstitious mental baggage of our cave dwelling ancestors. All these beliefs are equally naive and credulous, and can't be proven scientifically.
Why?
Because they all rely on magical thinking, faith, and a willfull rejection of rationality. Why are people so willing to suspend disbelief and fall for such nonsense?

You asked for my serious opinion. Thankyou for listening
