1) Who is God?
Answer: Asking "who is God" is sort of like asking "what color is Saturday" or "when is my flarfmickdoogan?". All are nonsensical and incomprehensible and therefore cannot yield meaningful results.

2) How did the world begin?
Answer: I have no idea, but recently it seems as though definitive proof of the Big Bang has been discovered, so I think I'll sway that way.

3)What is your purpose on earth?
Answer: To make the most of what I've got and try to help everyone get more to work with.

4) What will happen to you after you die?
Answer: My organs will be donated, my body will either be cremated or burried, and my "self" will cease to exist.

5) What is sin?
Answer: A Christian concept.

6) Are all people sinners?
Answer: See answer to #5. All people are flawed in some way. I tend to not think of folks in those terms, though. Too negative. I like to think that most of us have great potential.

7) Do people become sinners because they sin or do people sin because they're sinners?
Answer: See answer to #5. I don't buy into the concept of sin. I buy into the concept of human nature. No, they are not one in the same.

8) What is God's punishment for sin, if any?
Answer: Not applicable. No God, no punishment from "him".

9) Are there penalties that occur on earth for sins in a person's daily life?
Answer: No per answer #5. Yes there is punishment for "bad behavior". The law.

1. God is the physical laws that govern the universe, how ever this God is emotionally unsatisfying, it does not make much sense to pray to the laws of gravity.
2. I do not know how the world began, the most probable and rational theory is some sort of disruption in our known universe that cause the massive expansion of energy that help form the planets and stars, but of course I was not there, I am simply going by what I see in the way things work in the world.
3. My purpose on Earth is like many other animals, to survive and procreate and to leave a better legacy for my offspring.
4. No one know exactly what happens after you die, but to make a physical observation as we the living see the world, the body breaks back down into the simple compounds that it was made of, I have seen a rotting corps.
5. Sin is knowingly causing another to suffer, all other sin is made up nonsense.
6. People are flawed creatures and bring suffering to others. We all have emotions and lose it now and then.
7. People sin because no one is capable of being in control all of the time, that is a simply fact of life. I'm sure you have gotten irritated at someone and yelled at them when you were really tired at some point in your life, most have.
8. If there is a God then the only punishment that should be done is to punish the one who created the sinner.
9. Have you ever seen the movies faces of Death? Well ignorance and stupidity can get you killed. For instance, I do not think it is a sin to have sex before you are married, but I think it's very stupid to go out and have sex a lot of people and with out protection, it is dumb think that you will be safe in leading your life this way.

OK, I'll give it a shot. But I'm better at being detailed than simple...

1.God is an effect produced within a societal relationship defined by love.
2. I think it has always been, the universe just keeps expanding until it collapses back on itself, and then blows up in a big bang. Wash, rinse, repeat.
3. My purpose on earth is to live my life to the best of my ability, to learn as much as possible, and to cultivate loving relationships with everyone I know.
4. My consciousness will end and my body will decompose.
5. Sin is behavior that impedes healthy social relationships.
6. Probably, but not because of some metaphysical 'original sin'. Just because I've never known of anyone who didn't do something selfish some time.
7. The action precedes the identification. Nobody is born a sinner.
8. Isolation from others. Keep in mind that this is not some kind of action taken on behalf of a personal God, though. It's a repercussion of the sin on the relationship.
9. Yes. Isolation, anger, etc.

1. Who is God?
A mythical being created by man.
2. How did the world begin?
The universe "began" with the Big Bang about 14B years ago (there might have been spacetime before the Big Bang event).
The earth began around 5B years ago condensing from gases & metals in this part of our galaxy. The metals came from previous supernovae in the region.
3. What is your purpose on earth?
Purpose is a loaded term. I don't believe that there is some external purpose from a God. But I am very happy to be able to make my own purpose in life.
4. What will happen to you after you die?
I'll cease to exist. I believe that my entire consciousness/sentience is a result of the processes of my brain, and when my brain dies, I cease to exist.
5. What is sin?
Sin is a religious construct. I agree that people perform evil acts, but the word "sin" has connotations that the word "evil" does not, and I think
those connotations are all due to superstition.
6. Are all people sinners?
No. I agree that it is very rare for a person to avoid all bad/evil behavior. However, it is their acts that are evil.
7. Do people become sinners because they sin or do people sin because they're sinners?
If you are asking about original sin, I don't believe in it.
8. What is God's punishment for sin, if any?
No God, so therefore no punishment from God.
9. Are there penalties that occur on earth for sins in a person's daily life?
Most societies have laws that punish people for a variety of particularly evil acts. Unfortunately societies often punish people
for acts that are not evil. For example, it is no more evil to smoke a little bit of marijuana than it is to drink some alcohol.

1. I don't believe that there is a God.
2. All of this began with the Big Bang, which took place about 13 billion years ago. You would do well to research it on your own, as it is too complicated to explain in this forum.
3. My purpose is the same as that of any other...to be the best person that I can be, and raise my family to successful adulthood.
4. I will simply cease to exist. This is all the time we have.
5. I do not believe in sin. I believe in right and wrong.
6. As I don't believe in sin, then there are no sinners. Everyone has the capacity for good and evil. Your sense of morality is what decides your course.
7. Morals and values determine the path you choose.
8. There is no God, therefore there is no punishment.
9. If you do the crime, you do the time.

1. God is a man made creation that explains the powers that created the universe. The energy that created the universe is great and unknown
2.The energy, that many refer to as God, created the Earth and the Universe and the Galaxies. It just happened when the energy decided it would happen.
3. To live peacefully with our world and the people and animals that inhabit it. To live with respect towards the energy and understand that we are part of it and it is part of us.
4. My body will go into the earth and my spirit will join the energy until it is ready to be born again
5. I do not like the word sin because it is an Abrahamic view of the world. But you can attach it to bad behavior that harms people or animals unnecessarily
6. Most people are.
7. People are not born sinners...we have no original sin
9 If you send out negative energy you will receive it back three fold.

btw, I am a Pagan, not an atheist but I thought I would answer anyway.

1. "God" is a figment of people's imagination, fueled by wishful thinking and a desire to find answers.

2. This planet, along with the rest of the solar system, coalesced out of a cloud of gas about 4.55 billion years ago. As for the universe in general, it most likely originated in a "big bang" event. As for what caused the big bang, I don't know. There isn't enough evidence to form a decent hypothesis.

3. We have no grand cosmic purpose. However, we can all choose to pursue what we personally find meaningful. I don't find my life meaningless at all.

4. When you die, your consciousness comes to an end.

5. "Sin" is a religious word for "something wrong".

6. We all fail to follow our personal moral ideals from time to time.

7. Which came first, the chicken or the egg?

8. Since there is no god, there can't very well be any divine punishment.

9. All actions have consequences. For example, murderers get chased down by cops. However, there's no divine or natural law decreeing that every misdeed will be punished. Indeed, many people do nasty things and still live long and happy lives anyway.
