There are two particular religious groups of people that have become very difficult to criticize; the Jews and Islam. If you say anything unflattering about the Jews, automatically you become an anti-Semite and mysteriously a party to the holocaust. If you say anything unflattering towards Islam you make yourself a target for terrorism. However, it is politically correct to criticize Christians. No group seems to be officially offended by that.

Why???? It's obvious and true but ... Why???

Let's be consistent in our reasoning, OK?

Let's say I hand you an expensive Swiss watch. I then ask you which makes more sense:

1) That atoms just were and then they spontaneously came together to create molecules. The molecules just came together to create elements. The metal elements all fused together on their own to form the internal parts. Other elements came together to form plastics which came together precisely in this watch. That every part of this watch through chance just came together perfectly as you see it.

OR

2) A watchmaker made it.

Occam's Razor will necessitate an atheist choose choice #2.

Now the same atheist presented with the following choices.

1) Something came from nothing. Then atoms came togethr to form molecules and then elements and then some primordial goo. That then became alive. That then eventually crawled out of the sea and eventually stood on two legs as a man.

OR

2) A watchmaker made us.

Why would an atheist accept that Occam's Razor mandates believing in a watchmaker in the first situation and not in the second. The belief in a watchmaker is a much simpler explaination.

I have always viewed it as a positive term. It refers to a narrative or a story that while not factually accurate contains elements of truth that tells us about who we are and our relationships with others (creatures, things and the divine).

So that means you dont pray, or hope or wish for anything correct.
How can you do that? If you are a true Atheist I mean. Dont you want more, then just today. Dont you want forever, you really believe that your Mother gave birth to you, just because she had nothing better to do. You dont believe that you have a purpose. . And if you dont have a religion, your not a Atheist. You just havent heard what you need to hear yet. Which is fine, especially in this day an age. So I dont really believe you are a Atheist, I just think your still a stubborn child, who doesnt want to learn to share. So tell my why you are a Atheist, other then the bad stuff thats happened in your life. Because let me tell you, thats life. Thats what Our Savior went through, so If you have gone through something terrible. Your closer to Christ then you think.
