I'm just really curious and want to see how people are alike and different. Also some of the regulars are really nice and give this section a good vibe. :)
And you? :)

I like to see what folks are thinking and why.

I like to learn a few things I didn't know before.

:::whispering::: I like to make fun of people who can't express a concept in an intelligent, comprehensible fashion. Shhhh!

I like -- very much! -- the warm, thought-provoking posts of certain R/S regulars, such as yourself.

Well to be honest, I did think it would be a more kind section but it's hostile! I wanted to see what other believers thought & see there questions. To be able to share with each other. Some are very nice, and some are not, but I'll keep trying.

I come here to learn and share. I know a lot about Catholicism, but admittedly very little about non-Christian religions. I love answering deep questions that require some thought and when I find questions about other faiths that are being asked and answered seriously, I read them so I can learn.

I like to read the posts. You can spot the true Believers from the religious nut jobs...as well as those who have been burned by religion (here, here!) & now have an ax to grind.
I like to see if people are getting serious answers to their serious questions. The stupid posts, I ignore.
Sometimes I simply read the posts/questions from people whom I have no intention of answering; I'm just curious to see how other religions think.
Good question...

I used to be a history teacher, and I like working with young people, especially curious people who have questions about something very important to me.

It makes me feel "professorial", and gives me a good venue for studying my Bible (I've had to look up a lot of things in order to effectively join in a discussion.) It's fun.

I come here to gain an insight into human nature. I have no idea why I decided to explore this, it just came to me. I could have done the same in the Psych forum, but the emotion lies in this one, so answers are more spirited, and spiritual.

You would be amazed at what I am learning.

It helkps me learn and grow in the Lord, and helps me to better my "people skills" when answering hard questions. Makes me think and look towards the bible for more answers. :) And I like to help people, answer thier questions. I am naturally a teacher, and like it that I can talk about my one true passion, Jesus, here on the internet. A lot of people aren't even aloud to read a bible in some countries, I am just exercising my freedom!!!

i enjoy answering the genuine questions to the best of my ability and understanding and along the way i can also learn something through what other people have posted or asked. i hope at times the atheists or non believers come here and slowly begin to open their hearts to Jesus and christianity.....(those who read this don't be offended but i do hope the best for atheists and this is my humble opinion).

I came to this section to answer questions that I felt I had some relevent answers to, and to try to educate those who want to know how I feel about religion and why. Also, to learn by reading answers and to think by reading thought provoking questions.

I come to do Battle with the Forces of Darkness and Show them the Light.

Forces of Darkness = small minded religious bigots

Light = Reason
