On my nightstand:
"Sinner's Guide to the Evangelical Right" By Robert Lanham
"The Cosmic Landscape" by Leonard Susskind
"God Created the Integers" by Stephen Hawking
"Pusuit of Loneliness" 20th Aniversary Edition, by Philip Slater
"John Quincy Adams" by Paul C. Nagel

I'm off to read now. I can find intellectual stimulation like this site in any old pentecostal populated trailer court.

I like the entertainment value of this site, and never did consider it for interesting discussions (that's what the pub and a few pints are for). I use it as my "winding down" time when I get home from work. Reading all the moronic questions (and moronic answers) makes me realize that not all the stupid people on the planet live near me. Just some of them.

If R&S has sunk that low, it's only because the "interesting people" haven't done enough to make it clear to the juveniles that they -will- be put in their place for behaving in such a manner.

We'll just have to see if things improve now that the point has been made obvious to them.

Stop coming.

Everytime a resonable pro choise or pro gay point is reported as hate (and accepted), then you know this place is going down the crapper.

Am I one of the interesting people?

I dunno. Maybe the juveniles will eventually get bored.
