WITHOUT giving all his money away? Matt. 19:23

It depends.

The reason it is so difficult for a rich person to get to heaven is that in order to get rich they generally set up wealth as an idol. Since they put money before God, they are unrepentant sinners and cannot enter into heaven. That was the young noble's problem, he loved his money and comfort more than he loved God. If you are rich and still Love God, and are willing to part with your riches for the sake of God, then yes, you can go to heaven. But if you are putting money (or anything else for that matter) before God, you cannot.

The Bible says it's easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle.

The Bible also says the love of money is the root of all evil.

Some people have plenty but they also share plenty. In our society, it just isn't possible to live without money, so unless the man is so rich he stockpiles most of his money and won't share it, it seems to me that he could still go to heaven, if he meets all the other requirements.

Luckily, I'm not God, so I can't say for sure.

Of course he can; if he is righteous and spends his money in the way of God. Not ALL of it. In Islam, yearly you must pay 2.5%....fair enough? But even without that, it doesnt automatically "disqualify" you for heaven. Its just that rich people seem more attached to worldly things, which detracts attention from God, and as they say money is the root of all eveil. But to simply answer your question--YES :-D

It's not easy, almost impossible! Can a camel go through the eye of a needle?

It's not the fact that he is rich, it's that he's attached to (loves) his possessions instead of to God, his creator. Nobody can serve two masters!

Yes, rich people must play by the same rules as all the others.

I've been able to forget most of that dogma, is that the verse that said "surely it is as hard for a richman to go to heaven as it is for a camel to go through the eye of a needle........

It continues to say

,but through god all things are possible.

Well if your going by the King James version of the Bible then there is your answer.

"through god all things are possible."

I feel it's all in the heart but God apparently sees rich people having something in theirs that must be hard to over come. Possibly greed or feeling like a god themselves.

God does not discriminate based on a person's achievements.

However, since "You can't take it with you", is really true, then he should use it to help as many as he can on his way out
