I guess that would depend who is listening and what the lyrics are.

I use to think so in the 70's. I threw out all my Steve Miller, Beatles, Baycity rollers LP's because the PTL had convinced everyone that the rockers had subliminal messages in their music. The method that they told you to test it was to listen to the music backwards and you could hear the satanic lyrics. LOL I dont think that you have to listen to it backwards nowadays. The forward version is pretty awful is both Genres of music.

hip hop has alot of sexuality which creates lust so it at times can be of the devil if you let it be, the same for rock i guess. i like rock either way but i listen to lots of music styles and don't let it affect me like get depressed to nirvana etc.....

Everything is the devil, realize the whole earth is in the devils hands. Our hunger, wars, and constant wrongdoings reck our lives. We are all eternal and will be forever. It is not a certain thing that is the devils, it all is. The only thing that is not the devils is those who believe in god.

I would say (if there is a devil) that he would listen to classical music. All that hectic crap going on around him all the time...He would need some kind of way to unwind.
So regarding your question...Classical music is "of the devil"

most likely yes because rock music has a lot of messages that are hidden in the songs. you're hearing one thing out of the song but another thing is right under it. there's actually machines that detect hidden messages under songs and they're from all genres but rock songs have the most hidden messages.

Music was meant to be appreciated by humans. It was used as a part of God's design to bring variety to humans to appreciate. Sadly, some have taken music and written lyrics that debase our thinking. Wholesome lyrics are so enjoyable, but when people who are influenced by the immoral thinking, that incidentally was created by Satan, then it causes one to think badly about their fellow man or woman. I feel music by today's standards has gotten way out of whack! The Bible said that Satan is the "god of this system of things" and the music composed today will verify that.

Music isn't evil or of the devil. There are lyrics which aren't good. But the music? C'mon its just music.
