Why would God punish us for Adam&Eve's "original sin", when God knew of the betrayal before it occurred, and God could have prevented it by not placing the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil in the Garden of Eden?

He didn't have to mess with free will, just not put the Tree in the Garden.

He didn't have to mess with free will if he'd just kept Lucifer out of the Garden (he knew of Lucifer's actions before they occurred as well).

So, given how all-powerful God is, and how he could have prevented original sin without messing with free will, how does anyone justify punishing -us- when original sin was part of His plan all along?

Why do children have to go hungry and die, or suffer from debilitating diseases? Why must any of us suffer for a crime we never committed, a crime which God Himself allowed to occur when He could have prevented it -without- messing with free will?

How do we call this a "God of Love"?

Up until recently I have been questioning God and asking him why do wicked people prosper and good people suffer? I have even asked this question on this site.

But lately I have been getting to the point of accepting the things I cannot change and having the courage to change the things I can.

I feel with what I have gone through ( and I know I am NOT the only one) I wan to help counsel people in the form of encouragment? What are ways that I can do this and what are some signs of a mature beleiver in Christ? How can I become more mature?

All species can produce offspring unlike both parents, sometimes this is called mutation, but basically it's a birth defect. Imagine that there were white buterflies who bred other white buterflies but one produced an off white buterfly (slighly darker) and by being slightly darker it blended into it's eviroment a little bit better, avoiding being eating by predators, it survives to pass on it's dark genes. Let's say half of it's offspring are born off white as well, all of them have a greater chance of survival and when mating season comes, they all pass on their genes. Now let's say after several thousand years most of the butterflies are now off white, one might give birth to a butterfly with a birth defect of being even darker, but this helps it blend in even better than it's parents starting the cycle all over again. Over many years of this you could end up with black butterflies. This is just one small step in the evolution process.

I keep hearing about free will, but an omniscient god would know of these betrayals before they occurred. And in the case of Judas, Jesus selected him to be a disciple. Why should anyone believe these betrayals were not part of the plan all along? God/Jesus could not have been fooled this often.

I think the show South Park is ridiculous and it either needs to be changed or removed. I DO NOT like the way it portrays Jesus. I have sent Comedy Central an email. I used to like the show until I saw the episodes where they make fun of Jesus. The show disturbes me very much and I feel that something needs to be done about it. If it was promoting Jesus than some anti-Christian would have something to say about it and eventually get it off the air. So why should we Christians sit back and do nothing? well,some they hate others who are better than them.they are bad educated and lack real education and politeness.they are suicidary and self-destructive.the reason is that they use the rights wickedly.they think god is stupid and will make this dishonst honsty valid,but,this is a stupid viewpoint.well,when somebody hate you then use wickedly the rights to condemn your reaction against his abuses and stupidity.they think it is a crime to defend oneself against them and it is intelligent to play with rights wickedly.do you like these people and do you like to be iprisoned for you venged agaist injustice.in myt case,am i not right to venge on?
