I think the show South Park is ridiculous and it either needs to be changed or removed. I DO NOT like the way it portrays Jesus. I have sent Comedy Central an email. I used to like the show until I saw the episodes where they make fun of Jesus. The show disturbes me very much and I feel that something needs to be done about it. If it was promoting Jesus than some anti-Christian would have something to say about it and eventually get it off the air. So why should we Christians sit back and do nothing? I need supporters to help me on this. If you agree with me, go to this website and tell them about it!!http://www.comedycentral.com/help/questionsCC.jhtml
I told them that I was going to also write to there sponsers and tell them about it. I am working on that now. I will add detail in a few with the website of there sponsers. I am going to tell there sponsers what I think also and if you agree then tell them what you think too. WHO IS WITH ME!!!! Serious answers only!!

It is really sad how many people do not believe in God the Father. That breaks my heart. I have proof in my own life that he exsists. All the things he has done for me. All I have to do is ask and he has always provided for me. Jesus Christ is Lord!!!

They should not be censored. They are on a cable station for crying out loud.
Do you think Veggie Tales should be removed from NBC? I don't. If you don't like something or are offended by it, turn the station.
We are only offended by something when we allow ourselves to be. If you are against it you could always refuse to purchase the products of the sponsors. You are giving this too much energy in my opinion.

Five misspellings. Where did you matriculate? Yale? Harvard?
First of all, what makes you think that your religion is above reproach and ridicule? What makes you think that having a Savior that no one can say anything about is important enough that it trumps other people's rights to free speech? Are you really that self-important and arrogant that you feel that your insignificant, poorly-spelled views of the universe make any difference to anyone else at all on this planet? Write your letters. Protest to your heart's content. Have at it. I'm sure it'll do a whole lot of good. You sound like Marge Simpson in that episode of The Simpsons where she tried to get Itchy And Scratchy taken off the air. In other words, you sounded like an uptight, crotchety old fart.
Have a nice day.

I'm a Christian too but that show is really funny. Also remember that South Park is a TV show for adult or mature people and their main tool to get their audience is their profane humor. Whoever watches the show should be able to realize that everything in that show is fictitious and totally out of reality (except for the scene in which the Devil has an affair with Saddam Hussein... anyways, who knows?).

I'm sorry, I would have to disagree. If the show's main focus was to make fun of just Christianity, then I would agree. But their focus is to make fun of everyone, nothing is sacred to those guys.
You said you watched the show, then you should realize that they aren't prejudice towards one belief or people, but are predujice towards everyone, even themselves (ref the show "Passion of the Jew" where Stan says to Kenny about getting thier money back from Mel Gibson like they did with "Baseketball" - a feature film made by the show's creators)

I am not a Christian. I do not support you on this because I can tell you that they dont care. Can I ask you to support me on my protest of the figure of Jesus being on the Cross? I dont like the way Jesus is portryed on the cross so I dont want him on it. Especially since I dont think he really existed.
South Park is a TV Show....it is a cartoon....have you ever noticed that it makes fun of EVERYTHING. Stop looking for a reason to complain.

Did you know that Isaac Hayes left the show for it's stance on Scientology, but it never bothered him at all about the way they depicted Jesus or any other religion? And he never left until he did the show, got the check, and then was lectured by his Scientologist leaders. Where's the hypocrisy? It's an irreverent show, but it holds no quarter and nothing is sacred on it. If it offends you don't watch it. I defend their right to produce it.

If you don't like it, don't watch. If you really don't like it, encourage others not to watch. The problem is not that the show exists, its that so many people like to watch it. Trying to remove the show from the air will not remove people's desire to watch it. If you really care about it then direct your efforts in a more effective manner.

I agree with you that I don't like how this show portrays Jesus, but that's just its kind of humor. It pokes fun (or insults) just about every religion and philosophy out there - kind of a catch-all "anti-everything" show. I simply don't bother watching it.

Every Christian should agree with you. The fact is that most say, "I agree, we should do something", but they never do anything. That is the whole reason our nation is becoming so corrupt and my children will be exposed to homosexuality, pornography, violence, and a multitude of immoral media that my parents would have never seen when they were kids. Hollywood cranks it out because society accepts it. Christians put their hands in their pockets and complain. If we don't take a rise soon the entire nation will be filled with depravity and immorality. It makes me sick to think of how far down we have come since the invention of the television until now. At the rate we are going, I am convinced that the world by children will grow up in will be the most horrible culture known in the history of mankind.
I agree to stand with you. You have my support. I will take action.

SPARE ME!!!!!!!!!!!! If you don't like it change the channel.
Lazy christian. There are many things on tv that are offensive, rude, morally bankrupt and poronographic. Change the channel. It is NOT your world to run, nor are the rest of us who do like the show yours to deny. Get over it and start taking responsibility for yourself and what you watch. Do you go to X-rated movies? Do you demand that they be removed? No, you just avoid them. Well, just avoid South Park and leave the rest of us our choice and free will (that you claim god gave us) to watch what we want.
