I belive Islam is a false religion. There is only one way to heaven and that is through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Islam took three religions and took bits of them all and made up a new one. Alittle bit from the former belief in the moon gog aliyah, alittle of Judaism and a little bit of Christianity. It came about in the same way that joseph smith made up the cult of mormonism. Do your own research as to why Islam is a false religion. You can ask me anything and I will do my best to help you understand the truth.

I believe that Muslims can get answers to prayer the same as any other child of God. In my opinion, Islam is a preparatory religion, and it is limited in its scope because it does not take into account the Atonement of Jesus Christ, which will apply to everyone. I think that it is limiting upon the talents and intellectual abilities of women, but when it is lived right, it helps support the family. I have an idea that all of the world religions will have to evolve or change into something entirely different after the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, and that also includes Christianity itself. For example, I think it would be nice to have a few more historic holidays, which means nobody's best traditions would be left out.

It is impossible to gain a "clear and true understanding" of Islam in a few minutes spent on a website, and it is also rash to condemn an entire faith based on the actions of the extreme members of that faith. I am sure the Crusaders were seen as "terrorists" to those whose territory they invaded in the Middle Ages. But that does not make Christianity a religion of war. The only things I object to are misappropriation of a good path and claims that one particular path is the only way to escape Hellfire. If fear of a terrible personal fate is invoked, people will grab onto anything to save their eternal soul. That is not divine truth but human nature. It is much more honorable to hold to values of goodness out of love. That way one is less easily tricked by the demon Fear. I have nothing against Islam, but it is not the ONLY path.

I think I do have a clear understanding. I respect Islam as it is based on the same words of God that Christianity is based. Here is where we differ:
Mohammad may have been a prophet, but not THE prophet. There is no prophesy of Mohammad. Such an important role as he claimed would have been foretold by the earlier prophets.
Jesus Christ is the Savior and is prophesied down to the last appearance by verifiable accounts in the Book of Acts.
Jesus did miracles. Mohammad did not.
Mohammad wrote the Quran over 600 years after the death of Christ and though some of what Mohammad wrote is based on what Jesus taught, not all is and much is left to the perversion of man. Jesus' spoke with understanding and "knowledge".
Mohammad profited from his version. Jesus did not.
Mohammad wrote about Mohammad's visions. Countless people wrote, not all published, about the life and miracles of Jesus. He did not write about Himself unless you believe that the Holy Spirit influenced the Bible, in which case, you would have to accept that Jesus is Christ.
There's more but I have to go right now.

God Bless.

I think that Islam falsy proclaims to be the one true religion - just like Christianity before it. And, I beleive that this false beleif is only going to cause more and more wars and infighting amongst beelivers of differing faiths, because all faiths claim to be the only "true" faith.
How can it be the "latest true religion?" Either it is true or it is not. Christinaity wasnt, Judism wasnt (according to you), so it must be that Islam isnt either. Thats just logical progression.

I find it nearly impossible to beleive in anything that claims it is the only truth.

Modern religion can only be judged by the actions of its followers that are in turn based on the teachings of its leaders or prophets. Prior to the widespread teachings of the three major Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity and Islam), most religions were based on a plurality of gods who were vengeful and selfish. Men worshipped out of fear and were led to atrocities such as human sacrifice and the like. So, as civilization has evolved, man has seen the truth that God is a loving, caring God who is genuinely interested in our well-being. Christianity teaches that we should treat others with kindness and love, to turn the other cheek... a good example of this is in the news from today. An Amish grandfather who lost his granddaughter in the brutal executions of Amish girls in their school, told young boys that they should not hate the killer and should forgive "those who trespass against us". This is true belief in what God is. An acceptance of God's will even when faced with the adversities brought on by man's own sinful ways. On the other hand, we see today Muslim (extremists) threatening the lives of unbelievers who dare speak out against Muhamed. We see Muslim (extremists) preaching hate toward Christians because the Koran says "to not have Christians or Jews as friends" and to "kill them where you may find them". We see beheadings and sect killings between Muslims themselves, against one another. How can one then, in their right minds, with the clearest picture possible (the actions of the followers of Islam), say it is a religion of peace? I remember a story of a teacher in a Madrassa who cut off the ears of children because they did not recite the words of the Koran loud enough. When we see examples of corruption or evil deeds once in a while from a particular religion, we can easily blame the individual who was led astray... but when we see a daily and consistent disregard for human life and human decency and a hate so intense of all that is not in accordance with one's religious views, then we must judge the religion itself.

Some of the sweetest girls that I can remember meeting have been Muslim. (maybe its because they were virgins I don't know?)
But on a spiritual level, I must say that they don't accept Jesus Christ as their lord and savior. So all though they like Jesus, it is not enough. Without "the Christ" they are all doomed along with anyone else who dose not believe.
It makes me sad. Those sweet and devote people are living without salvation. But the good news is that Jesus is the Christ and the gates of heaven are open to those who believe unto him.
The Christ arose on the third day.

In the name of Jesus Christ God Bless.

im a muslim, and i would really like to explain to all people who read this, that people who never tried to understand why we do the things we do think that its a bad religion, but if we want to sum it up its all about forgiveness and sharing and believing in God and all the prophets and the religions that came before islam, like any other religion their are muslims who give other people a bad idea about islam, but if you people look at the religion itslef and listen to it from a muslim who studied shari3a they will show you that islam is a peaceful religion not like many terrorists show nowadays
