It seems these days there is less love here and more hate. I know somedays it is great but in a way this place is losing its purpose. What can we do to fix it?
Thanks to all who answer.

Well I'd suggest we would need some base rules we can all agree on etc but thats close to impossible. Maybe instead of flaming bad questions we should just ignore them.

Honestly, compared to other religion boards I'm part of this one is kind of a joke. It seems like one big flame war--which can be amusing but isn't that useful for learning and discussion.

More mods would be good, as well as more of a community standard--like there has to be sources for non-opinion material, or something.

No, it's not falling apart.

Was it falling apart when Jesus was being crucified with His 12 closest followers scattering in all directions? By all appearances, all pandemonium was breaking loose, and, by all appearances, when Jesus died, there was no hope of it ever being fixed. People were revelling in the brutality being shown to Jesus, celebrating, drinking, cursing, gambling right there at the foot of His cross - while He looked straight up into heaven as they mocked Him saying, "Father, forgive them. They know not what they do."

His followers, who are crucified with Christ, are doing the same thing. They're watching the same sort of pandemonium going on right at the foot of the cross saying Father, forgive them. They don't know what they do.

No worries. It's all being sorted out. It ain't over 'til it's over.

I disagree it has been a free-for-all from day 1. Is it because YA refuses to move off the atheists, naturalists and agnostics or because the Supreme Court ruled atheism a religion? Who knows!

Moses had a Tough Job too!
And he never made the Promised Land either.
Our FATHER in Heaven can do anything, only Believe.
The Bible says, when you Pray, BELIEVE that you RECIEVE.
Lets Pray to the Father to Help us on Yahoo, in HIS Way (maybe get alot of People Saved and Join us?), in the Name of Jesus, then BELIEVE that HE is helping us on Yahoo, and Praise HIM for the Answer (Believe that we Recieve).
What say ye?

I have witnessed a definite degrading of this category over the past week. Sad. Fun is fun, but this is ludacrous.

I'll listen to your ideas, try to build on them. I'm relatively new here, so what would you suggest?

Edit: That sounds like a start. I will do that.

Nothing can be done to fix it. Not by us, anyhow.
