If Heaven is for people of all faiths, would the Christians be upset? If you were surrounded by Christians in Heaven, would it really be 'heaven' for you?

Tomorrow is see you at the flag pole day where christians go to pray for the school, friends, teachers, etc. But is this really necessary? I was thinking about going but isn't it just shouting to people "hey look at me i'm a christian"? Are people just going to this just to get noticed by other people?

I dislike it when people say they love God who they can't see but hate their brothers and sisters who they can see.

Do you agree with either of these quotes? Which one? Why?

1. "Secular schools can never be tolerated because such schools have no religious instruction, and a general moral instruction without a religious foundation is built on air; consequently, all character training and religion must be derived from faith . . . we need believing people. "

2. "Throughout human history, as our species has faced the frightening, terrorizing fact that we do not know who we are, or where we are going in this ocean of chaos, it has been the authorities — the political, the religious, the educational authorities — who attempted to comfort us by giving us order, rules, regulations, informing — forming in our minds — their view of reality. To think for yourself you must question authority and learn how to put yourself in a state of vulnerable open-mindedness, chaotic, confused vulnerability to inform yourself."

One verse (Job 37:21) states, "And
now they do not see light, it is brilliant (Bahir) in the skies...
[round about God in terrible majesty]."

Another verse, however, (Psalm 18:12) states, "He made darkness His
hiding place." It is also written (Psalm 97:2), "Cloud and gloom
surround Him." This is an apparent contradiction.

A third verse comes and reconciles the two. It is written (Psalm
139:12), "Even darkness is not dark to You. Night shines like day –
light and darkness are the same."

My daughter, 17, is agnostic.
My mother mocks my PRO LIFE advocacy work.
My friends are primarily all Christian and the ones that arent are turning away from me.
I find comfort in Jesus and the love He shows me in the everyday burdens and blessings of my life that bring me closer to God.
I just get worn out sometimes, seems very depressing at times too.

John 15:19
If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.

John 3:

19This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.

What really ticks me off is when people label themselves as devoted Christians, but only when it is convenient for them, this gives the real Followers of Christianity a bad name...i have met too many pretenders, preaching about the Lord, and doing the complete opposite...doesent this just tick you off?......

Why do we Christians make such a big deal over legalization of gay marraige, but we aren't trying to set laws in place against adultery. Homosexuals aren't hurting anybody but their own souls.
But adulterers are rampant and Christian society isn't doing anything to stop it. Like when my dad beat up my mom and left her for another woman the church tried to blame her. I mean no wonder we aren't taken seriously as a religion, we don't care! And what about the women that cheat and than expect alimony! How hipocritical is that!
I think that we should start a bill illegalizing the breaking if the monogamus marraige contract. Because adultery is ruining marraige not homosexuality! Don't you guys think so?
P.S. excuse my poor spelling.

Forgive me for not being able to spell, and having no clue, because I am an ignorant s l u t.
You should be ashamed of freedom of speech. In islam you have your tongue cut out for not agreeing with the political leaders. Try islam, you will love it.
You have no right to treat muslims like this. You will never find a muslim on here talking bad about Jesus (the little b i t c h who thought he was the son of god). But you so call ed christians and atheists or watever say smart comments (smart is not everything...I am happy being a moron). I was a christian once so don't tell me that i am going to hell...i knew and still do the bible like the back of my hand (even though I have never seen the back of my hand, because muslim women have to cover up)...i was in it all my and i am 15 (like you didn't know). You all need to wake up...because the things you say really hurt...peoples feelings.

So now, you would be a fundamental of that doctrine.
Isn't it better to look at the world in an objective and universal way instead of being blindly tied up to your doctrine.
To look beyond Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Communism,...etc.
To learn sth from each of them but to look beyond all of them
