Basically evolution does and is happening. That is plain and simple fact. The only things that can even be disputed are the xact mechanisms that control this. So what is it about evolution that you do not agree with? Is there evidence to back your non-belief?

The Bible makes slavery persmissible. Please don't give me that old testement we don't live under stuff, no where does Jesus remove the slavery laws. Please also don't give me the stereotypical it was different then stuff, Exodus 21:20-21 says the master who beats the slave goes unpunished if the slave lives after a day, and in Leviticus 25:45 it says its ok to own children as slave property?

Many American Christians do not own slaves. Jesus never said slavery was immorral?

Where do these Christians get their morality, if its not from the Bible, then where?

Is it their consciousness, society "the world"; common sense?

I hate to break it to you, but score one for the Atheists on this one folks. Ok, game over. Atheists win. This might just be the end of jim darwin. There won't be one single religious person's answer to this question that will be either logical or will make sense.

To say God's existence is FACT takes anyones' FAITH away! A while back the faithful said we were the center of the universe and if you said different you were not religious. Then some people figured out that the Earth went around the sun. This caused disruption and was called wrong. The ones screaming 'Blasphemy!" forgot to look at the sky at night. The ones screaming "Your God can't be there because you can't prove it!" forgot that it is unprovable, therefore a faith.

The geologist who spent his/her entire life studying geology, the age of the earth, and how to date it...OR the guy who heard in a church group that earth dating is impossible?

The biologist who's spent his/her entire life studying the mechanics of life, how species form-mutate-evolve, the similarities between species and what links one from the next...OR the creationist who can't tell one species from another?

The anthropologist who's spent his/her entire life studying ancient civilazations and cultures, seen fossils that range from ape to human, and seen mankind reach back FAR beyond Genesis...OR the creationist who thinks evolution is impossible, yet has never read a thing on the history of man?

The historian who knows of the bible's origins, culture surrounding, process in being assembled, etc...OR the Christian who thinks its perfect?

LESS THAN 1/10TH OF 1% OF SCIENTISTS IN THESE FIELDS THINK CREATION IS POSSIBLE. How can you say science proves creation?

You can't really say "my conscience" because that would suppose something bigger than ourselves telling us what to and not to do and that would reveal another chink in the armor for evolution. Also, since you don't realize that God exists, where do these morals come from?

I know a muslim convert that was Christian and she told me that Christianity has many mysteries, one of the mysteries is the question i just asked?? those that lived before Jesus shouldn't go to hell just because they didn't believe in him?!
please, i don't want opinions, i want you to prove it, quoting from the bible would work...
as technology advances we learn more about the universe, and know more about God's infinite powers, how can a righteous man such as Jesus be called God, when he is only human? because he was better than all of the ppl that lived that time, does that make him immortal? where does Jesus say he is God? If the bible was sent down by God, then why are humans editting it? that's not right!!

Buddhism maybe, but the Buddhists I've met take it too far and start wearing robes and stop having sex.

Christians, Muslims, and Jews all feel that their religion is the only way. I'm speaking in general here; there are always people that believe one of these religions and are open to others. I am like that, but I'm trying to find a religion that doesn't state that theirs is the true way and others are wrong or less right. I have specific examples if any Christians, Muslims, or Jews want to refute this.
