Basically evolution does and is happening. That is plain and simple fact. The only things that can even be disputed are the xact mechanisms that control this. So what is it about evolution that you do not agree with? Is there evidence to back your non-belief?

I'm not disputing evolution, it is happening right now as we are speaking. Evolution is fulled of irrefutable facts, and I'm not here to contradict them, but I believe that someone started this, it is not that I believe in the bible or any such things but everything is too perfect to just be a subject of pure randomness.

For those that say that evolution does not account for new species... horseshit. Examples abound, both in the 'world' and in the laboratory. One of the most interesting examples, and the most enlightening, has to do with a kind of bird (plovers, if my memory is correct) that occupies adjacent habitats all the way from Siberia to Britain. Because of environmental differences in these adjacent habitats (topology, food availability, competitor species, predators, vegetation), natural selection has produced genetic differences between the populations in these adjacent habitats. Birds in adjacent habitats can still mate with each other... the genetic differences are small. However, the birds from the Eastern-most reaches of Siberia CAN NOT mate with those from Britain. Over the reach of MANY habitats, the accumulation of genetic differences makes them a DIFFERENT SPECIES.

It's the whole something from nothing and species evolving into completely different species that I have a problem with. I have not seen any evidence of the such. Be sure to tell me when you find someone who has........Oops I forgot that will be a few hundred thousand or million years from now. So I guess I'll never get to see this proof :-(

Yes this is old. Again.

Sure there is evidence, have you ever seen the math to calculate random mutations?
We are 200 billion years ahead of evolution stats.
The argument has been random mutation at regular intervals.
Sounds like Intelligent design material.

Basic evolution. Where again is it happening today?
Please come forth with the credo evidence.
Oh and full explanations, if you can.

We can beat this one into the ground. I believe that this complex universe did not happen by chance. My beliefs are matters of faith.

There is no absolute proof on either side, so what's the point of arguing. Researchers choose the answers they wish to believe.

Ugh. I propose that we have only 5 thumbs up and 5 thumbs down to use for each question. However, you can give them all to one answer if you wish.

All 5 of my thumbs down would be to the person who asked why there are still monkeys!!!!!!! Drives me crazy, go read a f***ing science book!!!! AAaarrrgghh!!

Even the mechanisms can't seriously be disputed-is there any competing theory to natural selection? I find it incredible that in this day and age we could even be discussing creationism.

does it have to be one or the other? god can be anyhting. and can't god be real, and the bible be wrong? maybe god made things with the ability to evolve to survive the changes in the world. are we god's science experiement? is god an alien that transplanted us here for whatever reason? did microbes blasted into space from meteor impacts on other planets settle on this rock, and just happen to survive and evolve? i dunno.

They have no real argument. Just faith and a bunch of neo-con christian pseudo-science.
Humans did not evolve directly from Ape...why is that so hard to understand? We have a common ancestor.

Confused person: Despite lacking evidence of evolution, the FAITHFUL ATHEISTS keep asserting that it is a fact. It is nearly a discarded theory, give it up!
