One verse (Job 37:21) states, "And
now they do not see light, it is brilliant (Bahir) in the skies...
[round about God in terrible majesty]."

Another verse, however, (Psalm 18:12) states, "He made darkness His
hiding place." It is also written (Psalm 97:2), "Cloud and gloom
surround Him." This is an apparent contradiction.

A third verse comes and reconciles the two. It is written (Psalm
139:12), "Even darkness is not dark to You. Night shines like day –
light and darkness are the same."

It makes about as much sense as a Christian picking and choosing verses from different parts of the Bible and making them mean whatever they are trying to say. God is not made of stone and stuck in one place or time. Sometimes He is in the light and sometimes He is in darkness, and I'm sure He can see just fine in the dark. And this could be speaking of His moods. Are you always in the same mood?

full quote from job, verses 21 and 22:
"21:And now men see not the light which is bright in the skies; but the wind passeth, and cleanseth them.
22:Out of the north cometh golden splendour, about G-d is terrible majesty. "

slightly different...

anyway, I see no problems from these verses, I looked them up in a translation that I trust, and I see no contradiction with how I see things.

but then again, I see things quite differently than most.

in short, God is all powerful, all everything, and well above and beyond "good" and "evil" as we know it, and nothing is beyond or hidden from God.

You're not one who enjoys poetry, are you? I think you thought you were picking up an engineering book and found Longfellow instead.
