Yes, they do lots of damage to the Christian faith as a whole. I believe the problem is that they WANT to Christians, and go to heaven, but they have not really studied out what it means to be a disciple, and have not actually tried their best to ACT upon this knowledge. Rather, they have just "prayed Jesus into their heart"--whatever THAT means, and just do some of the things the Bible says they should, and ignore the stuff that seems like too much trouble. When other people see their hypocrisy, they shy away from the faith, and the Devil gloats, with another victory in hand!

i'm a Christian and actually there's a level to which I believe you. you're waiting to stay a wealthy, rewarding, loving , satisfied existence without Jesus. Jesus on your coronary heart does complicate issues and motives each action to be reconsidered. it truly is unquestionably very draining from time to time. yet i will allow you to recognize it really is nicely worth it because even although there are circumstances without the awesome, the rewarding , and the richness, the peace in my coronary heart is what receives me through. So if you're on the bottom of the barell without the peace it somewhat is at the same time as it concerns me. to each and each his own and somewhat if you reside perfect and are a kind loving man or woman why do you imagine you're being judged through Christians. it really isn't any longer the corporate we are think to be in! if you're being judged they are incorrect! i'm no longer ticked off that you do not position self belief in "the sky fairy", i'm no longer ticked off in any respect! i like you regardless! yes it does, that is why I am "in between" religions right now. I was born and raised catholic, and I have seen so many hypcrites sitting in those pews, that I am afraid the whole church will get struck down on a sunday during mass.....
That is what I have learned about Catholicism, that as long as you go to confession and pay money to the church, you can be a lying, cheating, jerk to everyone, but it will be ok, just go to church once a week and it all is obsolved. This is why I refuse to go to our churchservices, I go only for funerals and weddings for friends. I have looked into Unitarian and Wiccan religions lately and they seem to fit me pretty well, they teach you to live morally correct and treat the earth and others well, then you will be treated the same.

oh u don't even know how bad that makes me made. They pretned to be true Christinas and tell others not to do something but do it themselves when they think that no one sees them. And by them doing that, it makes us all look bad. Thats why when a non-believer asks a question about us Christians, they don't say why some Christians or most Chritians, they say why Christians. The bad things that those hypocrites are doing is making us true bleivers and followers of God lok like we are fake. Too many fo the fakers are faking and pretending that the non-believers think we all are like that. I just hope that the fakers cna realize that even though every sin is equal, fake glorifying God and praising Him is so bad and it makes Him mad when someone does that. He should be getting evey praise that comes out of our mouths not fake praise or worship. I wish i could just got o them and ask them what is the point of htem faking anyways? Whats kinda fun are they getting from doing that?
And i wish i could tell them the name of the religion isn't all that important.Only like 40% out of 100% worth compared to ur realtionship with God. He relaly cares about ur relationship with Him. If u are diligient in prayers and not only do it when u are in trouble or need Him, or when u go to church but for eveyrday. He wants us to have a relationship with Him everyday, hour, minute, second. Thats how much He deserves for what He ahs done for us. The name of the religion can mean anything cuz ppl who go out to cluibs and drink and hjave sex b4 marrige and do all these thigns that God does't allow could go to church evry Sunday nad say oh im a Christian but then on Mon.- Sat. is going out clubbing and sinnig and not spreading His word cuz htey are to embarrassed to say hte name of Jesus to his friends.

Yes .It makes real Christians look bad.Seems like a growing disease here in America. The only thing that could change everything is once Christians start getting persecuted for their faith it will show the real believers from the fakes.

Yes, but I really don't think they are Christians to begin with. I am sure when judgment comes they will get theirs. Beside giving the rest of us a bad name he is give God a bad name. If we are angry about that can you imagine how angry God is over it. I feel sorry for them because they think they are saved but even the bible says one day they will say Lord Lord and he will say depart from me I know you not.

The one thing that really ticks me off is when people wear silly-looking hats and then pontificate while wearing them... only the Pope gets to do that.
Seriously though, I agree with you 200 percent. Hypocricy is no good.

How sad for you to be ticked off on unreal issues! Focus on yourself not others and maybe people who you have accused of not being real get with the program. God is the one who really should be ticked off but He knew that mankind wouldn't allow him to be the Ultimate Judge of mankind SINFUL NATURE.

What makes me upset is that it's the ones who are preaching it and not living it are the ones who manage to get themselves noticed in the public eye. So when nonbelievers see this they think ALL christians are crazy. It is very frustrating to those of us who try to live like Christ!
