I dislike it when people say they love God who they can't see but hate their brothers and sisters who they can see.

I know, what the heck, huh? Where's the Christ-like attitude with some of these jerks??

People like this are being hypocrites and probably aren't really Christians and if they are they need someone to point out their mistakes. Everyone messes up. Even Christians. But sometimes people think that they are Christians but they don't really know what it really means to be a christian. If you are sure that they really are Christians tell them how you feel. They should be sorry if they did something to offend you or someone else.

I know, this makes very little sense. I guess they just want to have as many people as possible believe in God, and they think fear and persecution is the way to do it, which, of course, it isn't. But the only thing we can do is love them as best we can anyway - hopefully our good example will rub off!

I find the opposite to be the status quo. I have seen Athiests and non-Christians on YA call the Christians here;

trailer trash
murderers
mindless
stupid
mental
bad parents
child abusers
brainless
torturers
rapists
war mongers
empty
fundies

...and that's just today.

Athiests and their ilk should not be surprized if someone says, "Enough!" and shoves back. Christians are meek and humble but we aren't going to be door mats.

because they are claiming the forgiveness of God, but have not learned yet to show that love and foregiveness to others. Christians are people, too. All people have this same problem.

Everyone deserves a chance to be your friend. I believe that, and I am a God-loving Christian.

That's because actions speak louder than words because someone says something does not make it true. The Bible says, "God is love" so it is impossible to love unless you have God in your heart and it is impossible to have God in your heart and not love.

I cannot judge, but take my word for it. Anyone claiming to be a Christian and then is mean to other people will get their just reward. God tells us to love everyone, even our enemies and to pray for them.

Don't be surprised. A splinter in one person's eye, a plank in another's ... somethings don't change.

But, if YOU show your brother that he is wrong and admits it and says he's sorry, you've won him back!

Every sin ... including those that pop up on this Q&A page, is an opportunity for conversion.

Keep praying!

It shouldn't be that way, unfortunately, (not all but, yes) some christians are like that. But God's working in them to change their ways. One day they'll get it right.
