“And when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, and with golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints” -chapter 5, verse 8

“ And another angel came and stood at the altar with a golden censer; and he was given much incense to mingle with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar before the throne; and the smoke of the incense rose with the prayers of the saints from the hand of the angel before God.” -chapter 8, verses 3 and 4

Does anyone know why it's okay for Athiests to make fun of and insult Christians, but then when Christians state our beliefs it's "offensive" to the Athiests? You think we don't find it offensive that you can say all this blasphemous stuff about God? It's that stupid double-standard thing. I say if we aren't allowed to talk about God in a positive way, we shouldn't be able to talk about Him in a negative way.

i mean, for example, in ramadan, we fast n give charity. so that's one way of learning patience.

but then i think........... (i mean i know this for a fact about the Pakistani's muslims) that many muslims don't fast. n don't even pray 5 times a day. so they turn barbaric n the whole non-muslim population get to spit on them.

i mean.....jihad comes after prayers, fast, charity, understanding the quran. jihad isn't killing men n women n childrent just because they don't believe in islam. it is so clear in chapter 2 verse 256.

why r the muslims over reacting?

If God knew everything ahead of time, then he must have known that pain would plauge all humanity as sin, christians say.

So... is God a horrible parent or what?

Before he went on a trip to Sri Lanka a couple of years b4 his death, he vainly declared that Buddhism was not a good religion. There was no gnashing of teeth in response from the Buddhists. Now, await the fire and brimstone that is to come from muslims following pope gregory's brave quote on islam.
Shows the world clearly the great difference between religions, specifically Buddhism and islam doesn't it?

This pope is a jewish man who had families in the concentration camps. I think that he is getting his revenge on the muslims because they hate jews so much. I think his last comment is totally accurate. I think that muslims are violent but I dont think the head of church should have used those words. I think something is giong on with his crazy red shoes too.

The night before the dreadful Tsunami, i heard a very clear voice telling me to "watch the news in the morning. You need to watch the news." The next day i did and the awful news of Tsunami was unveiling.
Was this God?
I wasnt drunk and havent had "voices" since so i know i am not mad.
I donated my Xmas overtime money to the cause because of this.

Six hours, 30 questions through four accounts (bobkgin, bobkgins_sock_puppet_1, bobkgins_sock_puppet_2, bobkgins_sock_puppet_3) and it's time to settle down for the night with a good book (Churchill's "a history of the english-speaking people vol III: The Age of Revolution)...

Did it make a difference for you? Do you have a better understanding of why Love matters in your life? Do you have a better understanding of the kid who fries stupid ants who won't worship him? Do you have a better understanding of the difference between disagreement and ignorance?

Will you show more Love and Compassion for your fellow human?

I know I have a better grasp of the divine, of Love, and those who answered.

May Love keep you safe from Fear, and thank you.

I know someone who goes to Walmart and stops people in the aisles and witnesses to them. Maybe it's just being shy, but I find it hard to be that out there, rather tending to form relationships with people first... (guess I'm just not at that level yet.) Anyone care to share witnessing experiences, thoughts?

I have and i cannot unerstand most of it. I read somewhere that some 85% of the koran cannot be understood even in its original arabic by arabs. is that why there are so much problems with the muslims?

I find it also vary selfish to kill a baby because you dont feel like having that problem at this point in your life. I would bet 99.9% of all men asked would not do it if they had a choise ladys just keep your legs closed and know even rape is not a good reason only preservation of life would be a reason.(sorry about the spelling)

I am, in my own opinion, a relatively open minded person. I am also a Christain who still maintains that open mindedness, contrary to popular non-Christain belief. I started research on the Big Bang Theory and the event itself (the literal bang), and in my opinion it has been proven to be true. I had to scatch my head though because of this line, and I quote, "Prior to that moment there was nothing; during and after that moment there was something: our universe. The big bang theory is an effort to explain what happened during and after that moment." I thought Newton's first law of motion says an object at rest tends to stay at rest and an object in motion tends to stay in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force. So what acted on the universe to cause it to bang? I'm as open minded as the next guy, science says the universe began with "atoms",the bible starts the world with "Adam", so is there just a dark spot in science?

There is a Christian Prayer called 'Hail Mary' that has a line that says "blessed be the fruit of thy womb, Jesus". It is difficult to comprehend the meaning of this phrase. It sounds as ridiculous but similar to "sacred be the vegetable of thy anus, Jehovah". What does it mean? Fruit is slang for homosexual and some slang can have very ancient and cross cultural roots. The gnostic Christians of the 1st century sometimes portryed Jesus as a homosexual. So does it mean JC was gay? Or does it mean that Mary's womb really did spit out primary produce...."Here comes a watermelon", or does it mean something else. Please delve into your magic oracle Bible oh sacred flock of faithful sheep and spin me out a righteous answer. Hallelejuah
