Karma is not some divine intervention and it only goes one way, if you do bad bad will happen back, not all bad happenings come from Karma. For example, say someone is cruel to others their whole life, no one will take care of them in their old age, or if someone is kind to others then they to will receive kindness in return. What goes around comes around.

Seeking meaning in your life is all that's necessary to find it.
We create our own reality, so if karma is a part of your reality, then yes, it is real. If the concept of karma doesn't resonate with you, then ..........
to know for sure, have you ever done something good, or something bad, then later something happened to you that you "just knew" was a result of your previous action?
That's karma.

I feel sorry for you if you need some kind of karma BS to feel that life has meaning! Look around...life is full of beautiful things! Karma is a component of the Hindu religion, which I do not believe.

my son at age 2 and a half had a tumor removed from his brain before it killed him
if karma is correct, something bad happened to my son because he did something bad to someone else, and of an equal magnitide that it cause the person to be in a hospital nine days recovering
what possibly could he have done in his 2 and a half years of life to cause any other life form harm?

Real, not real. What does it matter? Working on good karma can't hurt. At least you will be happier in this life.

Yep, what's goes around comes around. God put you here for a reason you just have to find out what your calling is. If you were not put here for a reason you would not have been born.

Life has no meaning. Sorry to break it to you so harshly, but we are born, live, die, and rot. That's it.
Jim, I am really sorry to hear about your son. That's too bad, and my thoughts are with you.
