i mean, for example, in ramadan, we fast n give charity. so that's one way of learning patience.

but then i think........... (i mean i know this for a fact about the Pakistani's muslims) that many muslims don't fast. n don't even pray 5 times a day. so they turn barbaric n the whole non-muslim population get to spit on them.

i mean.....jihad comes after prayers, fast, charity, understanding the quran. jihad isn't killing men n women n childrent just because they don't believe in islam. it is so clear in chapter 2 verse 256.

why r the muslims over reacting?

some Muslim especially in Arab country and Indonesia are fanatic extremist and illiterate . Muslim man married 2,3,4 and more than that , and they children remain illiterate because there is no enough money to send them to school. They should be a true Madras-ah to teach Muslim about the True Islam and not from fanatic Islam militant

One side of Islam practices what you said, patience.

On the other side it practices intolerance of other's views.

Charity has another meaning, love.

How do Muslims show love toward people of other faiths?
I mean the radical Muslims who go by the Quran with a fine toothed comb.
I know many Muslims are that in name only and not in practice, that is why they don't keep the discipline that it calls for.
This happens in many if not all religions.
But Islam says to have peace and then it says to kill.
Maybe there is something missing between these two opposite, diametrically opposed teachings. Obviously something is not right with the Muslim thought process here.

Perhaps it stems from a group mentallity which they share.
They are all together as men and all want to comply for fear of being criticized. No individual thinking is allowed and if someone does start thinking with reason, he will be eliminated.

When a Muslim man in Jordan converted to Christianity two years ago, a court convicted him of apostasy, took away his right to work and annulled his marriage.
While Islam accepts Christianity as a fellow monotheistic religion, Islamic Sharia law considers conversion to any religion apostasy and most Muslim scholars agree the punishment is death.

If you had to go through life with that, how would you react to the first chance to vent your anger?
Anything would be a target, including members and leaders of other religions.

Many "Muslims" do not even know their own religion. Some have been led astray by politicians. Jihad al nafs is considered the higher form. How many non-muslims think og jihad al nafs when they think of jihad? The media is at fault, but not solely at fault.

Islam was handed down to a people who had thousands of years of barbaric culture. It was meant to teach them right from wrong, but when they ignore the teachings and revert back to what they were before Islam, it makes all of us Muslims look bad - even those of us who are not Arab or Pakistani or whatever.

we are not over reacting!! it's the duty of every BELIEVER to defend GOD and his MESSENGERS AND PROPHETS.

we take our religion very seriously and we dont tolerate insulting prophets.

but i bet you those people you mentioned never even got out and protested.

Study the roots of your religion. Where was the patience when your prophet was running around cutting heads off those who wouldn't convert to his new cult?
