Would you ever murder someone? No? Great, neither would I. Would you ever rape someone? No? Great, neither would I. Would you ever tell anyone to murder or rape someone? No? Great, I wouldn't either. Isn't your heart filled with compassion when you see people suffering, and would you stop it if you had the power to do so? Yes? Great, moi aussi. Would you agree that most people are like us? Would you fear or even loathe the people who are not? Would you consider them to be evil?
Imagine you are completely perfect in every sense of the word. You can do anything you want to, and you know everything, too, because you are so tremendously perfect. You are also benevolent, because benevolence rocks. Only you exist, though, so you decide to share your life with other beings and start doing some good 'ol creating.
Great, right? Kinda. You give your creations flawed natures, even though you could have - and, being perfect, would have - done otherwise.
