Yes, so many people are in help of our need, whether they need a hug, smile, or just a couple dollars for a meal to a homeless person, and the list goes on.....

Story: One time I was at work and this dehydrated lady in 110 degree heat comes into our office. She looked dizzy and disoriented. I asked her what happened. She said her boyfriend dumped her in the middle of the street out of a car, and they were both from Washington! She didn't know Calif. at all.

I took time off work, gave her $10, and took her to a shelter. She talked to me when I took her in my car, but she refused to talk to anyone in the shelter there as I found out later. Hope she's o.k.

Would you ever murder someone? No? Great, neither would I. Would you ever rape someone? No? Great, neither would I. Would you ever tell anyone to murder or rape someone? No? Great, I wouldn't either. Isn't your heart filled with compassion when you see people suffering, and would you stop it if you had the power to do so? Yes? Great, moi aussi. Would you agree that most people are like us? Would you fear or even loathe the people who are not? Would you consider them to be evil?
Imagine you are completely perfect in every sense of the word. You can do anything you want to, and you know everything, too, because you are so tremendously perfect. You are also benevolent, because benevolence rocks. Only you exist, though, so you decide to share your life with other beings and start doing some good 'ol creating.

Great, right? Kinda. You give your creations flawed natures, even though you could have - and, being perfect, would have - done otherwise.

Does that include those who haven't heard the word?

Does that include babies who died after a difficult struggle or those of limited intellect who do not understand?

If God makes the final judgement, then how can YOU judge and ultimately condemn anyone? Doesn't this conflict with "Judge not lest ye be judged?"

FYI - I believe in God.

I just finished watching Jesus Christ Superstar (The 1970's musical movie) - I thought it was great. Though you could argue it portrayed Jesus as less than he really was. But then, it was told from Judas's point of view, so of course Judas didn't see Christ for all that he truly was.

So what do you think about the movie/musical (please state if you are a Christian or a non-Christian in your answer)?

i know we agree if god created beings he knew would defile him somewhere along the line that would make him not so smart to do so, therfore he did for a reason we just dont know, but help me with this one, for the devil to develop a thought in heaven of evil could that be the birthplace of evil or could it be a part of God but we just misinterpret it like we do so many things? food for thought. help me brothers and sisters.

Yeah, that's right... what if your entire belief system is nothing but a great big test to see if you're capable of maturing past the point of dogmatic thinking? What if the Bible is just God's way of screwing with your heads? Maybe Christianity is nothing more than God's way of filtering out all the dullards who aren't enlightened enough to see through his little test? Maybe he's only going to reward those of us who figure out right and wrong on our own. For all you know, he's laughing his butt off everytime one of you jacktards cuts and pastes a big long passage of scripture from a storybook (which I know a bunch of you can't wait to do!)

"Ha, ha, ha" He's probably thinking, "another Christian fool who couldnt figure it out. Oh *me*, where did I go wrong?" He's probably saying, "thank *myself*, because I'm weeding out all the simpleminded morons I made! Now I'll only be surrounded by my wonderful, intelligent atheist children for all of eternity."
