As a Christian am all for it. Bush is only a channel used by God. If we read the Bible carefully, we will know that this war, the ones before and those to come are already predicted and is in the purpose and plan of God. Matthew: There will be wars and rumors of wars.... look around, and tell me if there's something strange or something familiar going on in the world today. Yet Jesus said it is only the beginning of sorrows, the end is still not near. We have to be prepared and make sure that we are standing on the word of God.

My personal feelings are that it was a mistake of monumental proportions. Jesus came to usher in the kingdom of peace and we, as a nation, are failing miserably. To me, this was a political decision and had not one thing to do with the war on terror. Now, our nation is so divided as never before. How I pray that Bush could just come out and say, "I am truly sorry for not giving this more thought as to what and how we intended to accomplish.....it is a catastrophe.....I am open to ANY AND ALL IDEAS FROM EITHER SIDE". At this point, I truly believe that all we can do is pray for the world to get along.

Actually if you remember right, the congress voted for the war and most democrats at the time including hillary clinton and John "Cryptkeeper" Kerry recognizing them as a threat to national security as well as the UN.
Christians feel that the president has been doing everything he can to promote a new middle east and fight terrorism.
Iraq isnt part of the war on terror? (some of you liberals are snarling right now) Well let me ask you this: how would you like your children or family killed from a sarin gas bomb made by Al-Queda and provided by Iraq? Now we dont have to worry about that. One by one the US needs to destroy nations that support, sanction, and harbor terrorists.
And you can bet the lives of your children that should democrats get back in power, they wont protect you. Democrats way of dealing with terrorism is to do nothing and hope it goes away like Clinton and Carter did.

I personally do not agree with going to war with Iraq. Not when Saddam was afraid of the US, and letting Osama still do whatever-whenever he wants.
That's like me declaring war on you because some stupid idiot killed my friends or family. You had nothing to do with it, but oops, I just guess I don't care who dies now do I ?

Since Christ Jesus told his apostle, Peter- after Peter had stood up for Jesus and cut off the ear of one of the men who came to get Jesus for his execution-
“Return your sword to its place, for all those who take the sword will perish by the sword. Â Or do you think that I cannot appeal to my Father to supply me at this moment more than twelve legions of angels? (Matthew 26:52, 53)
It seems apparent that anyone who professed to be a true follower of Jesus, thus 'Christ-like', would have the same mentality as he did and would not support, or participate in, war.

God hates war. Satan instigates war.
Soon war will end when the Kingdom of God rules the earth.
