I used to work in a "haunted" building. (I use that term for lack of a better description.) Weird stuff happened there all the time... like things moving by themselves and, one day, a door refusing to open even though two of us were pulling with all our strength then, after I said aloud "OK, very funny, I know you're keeping the door shut but I need to open it, please" it opened easily for me. How about you?

someone sent me this weird religious site that gave me the heebie jeebies, I swear its like something out of the diary of jim jones or david koresh.. they talk about an ascension say that its going to happen in Dec. 2012 and that many people will have already helping with the accension by means of physical death and help their other family and friends along until the coming accension... Its really creepy tell me what you think... is it something like Im thinking or am I just over reacting?
read over some of this and tell me if it sounds crazy to you or what

I'm a Catholic, and I usually go to church every week. When everyone goes up to accept the body and blood of Christ (the host and the wine), I just stay in my seat.
Why, you ask?
I was called out by a priest at Mass last year in front of my whole Church. I was walking up to get the host, and when he held it out and said "The body of Christ," I said "Amen," but reached out for the host instead of allowing him to place in my hand. He rudely corrected me and told me that I had to 'practice' for next time.
I was very embarassed, went back to my seat and thought that it was all over.
Then the same priest went up in front of my Church (about 500 people) and mentioned that a guy came up for the host and reached out for it. He told everyone that it was essential to take Communion seriously, and the "young man"-- or me, didn't take it seriously.
I was so close to getting up in front of my Church and telling him off, but I didn't.
It's been a year. Should I start going to Communion again?

you saw a shadow in the corner of your room. Then the shadow...which is has a shape of a man walks (moves) slowly to your bedside looks directly at you, then turns and walks through the wall.

Then the next day, at night, you hear a man laughing (mature, deep voice) and says, get out. You walk into the room in which you think the voice came from and the same shadow looks you dead in the eye...what would you do?

The Pope could be giving a three hour oration on what a jerk that guy named Will on Yahoo Answers is and I'd probably never even know.

Do a lot of Muslims follow news stories about the Pope religiously? Or is there some Islamic talk-radio demagogue stirring up the Muslims?

I was born and raised a roman catholic but never really felt a connection with my religion. i've been hearing more and more about the beauty of the hindu religion and i want to know more. would it be considered rude to enter a hindu temple to learn about the religion? i've learned what i could from the internet and books on this religion, but i feel i need to talk to someone. also, i haven't found any books to help me begin the meditation process. any help would be extremely appreciated.
