Satan is referred to in the Bible as "the ruler of this world" and yet Jesus said, "He has no hold on me." This tells us that while Satan is ruling right now, it is only because God has allowed it for a short time so man can make an educated decision about who he will obey. Soon Jesus will chain Satan to the abyss and we will all get to know what righteous rulership can be like. Get to know God and obey him and you will survive to find out.

Oddly enough the bible actually says Satan is the prince and owner of earth. Sort of like a compromise God kicked Satan out of heaven and said here you rule earth. The thing is when god sent Jesus that is when Satan lost his power on earth. Jesus took back the throne and is king of earth. that's what the bible says. so both god and Satan have ruled earth at one point and time.

Satan has us in his grasp in this world, and he now seeks to corrupt us with evils such as gambling, sexual promiscuity, alcohol, love of money, pain, suffering and fear. But God shall rise above him and defeat him, throwing him into the sulphurous fires along with those who are not in the Book of Life, in the Second Death. Good will ALWAYS rule over evil, even if it takes a long time to do so. This is God's World, He Created it, He is all-powerful.

These questions are born-again magnates. There are no answers here, just dogma and rhetoric. Weirdos go crazy with ecstasy answering questions about god and satan. Reading their answers are better than going to a Star Trek convention.
