No problem. And don't worry so much about it because God wants you to be closer to Him, and is working in your heart as we speak. Taking time out every day to pray helps a lot. It's great that you want a better relationship with Him.

Sorry, I don't pray for nobody; religion is all made up by some old men a few thousand years ago. Enjoy life and respect your neighbors, treat others as would like to be treated, and you will live a more worthwhile, fulfilling life without the pressures of someone telling how to live, and how to judge other people.

Use his name (Jehovah or Yahweh) and sincerely request that he help you to draw closer to him. Ask this in the name of his son, Jesus Christ. Read your Bible and meditate on the things you read. What is the situation? Who is talking? Who are they talking to? What does it tell you about the kind of person God is? Etc...... All of these things will help you draw closer to God. May your efforts all be blessed by him.
