I'm not afraid of dying. If I live I belong to God, if I die, I still belong to God. I win either way.

People are afraid of dying because it will it is the end. Many people aren’t satisfied with their lives, even ones that are still have family that needs them. Another reason people are scared of death is because they believe in an afterlife and not all types afterlives are pleasant.

I think the older you get the easier it is to detach yourself from this world and welcome the next one. When people have young children they want to stay and raise them, and there are so many awful ways to die too. So there is bound to be some concern over that. Jesus says do not be afraid He will see you through it. I have almost died several times now, and it isn't all that bad. I know completely that when I die I have a home prepared for me in eternity and it is not all that hard to just let go.

Because people do not like to leave what they have build. When a person does not invest in the afterlife and do not build a house in Paradise, instead invests his life to this world he will always be afraid to die and does not want to leave this world. He would not want to be separated from what he have collected and built here.

On the other hand, people who have invested their whole life to afterlife and build house in Paradise instead of this world, can't wait to go to their Palaces in Paradise and meet their Lord. And for them death is just a "door to meet the God".

well i u are afraid of dying then you are doing something wrong

see ppl that are saved knows where they are going and they will tell u they can't wait to meet their maker, (that doesn't mean they will kill themselves to get there) it just means they are not afraid to die because they know what to expect after they die

Because even if you are religous, there is still a hint of unknown. We don't know for sure what comes after death, because we don't have anyone telling us what it's like.

That is the biggest mystery of time itself.
