There are a lot of people that accuse christians of being hypocrites on the issue of capital punishment. Because Jesus died tragically from capital punishment they ask how can christians tolerate the repetition of such cruelty and support capital punishment?

Well the answer is actually clear.

God approves of capital punishment so greatly that he decided to have his own son executed in this way. If God had not been in favour of the crucifiction, He could have stopped proceedings right away.

Thus Jesus was an enduring example to us of Gods desire that criminals should be executed for crimes by way of being nailed to a cross.

If this is the case, shouldnt christians ask our law makers for law reform so that all criminals on death row are killed as Jesus was, by crucification?

"PARIS - Al-Qaida has for the first time announced a union with an Algerian insurgent group that has designated France as an enemy..." http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060914/ap_on_re_eu/france_al_qaida_video

What country has tried to appease Muslims more than France? In return for French support of Muslims during the American retaliation for 911, Islamists have set France on fire (over a month of riots) and now, international Jihadists (Al Qaeda) have joined forces with Muslims in France who are committed to overthrowing France for Allah.

Apologists...commence your pathetic rationalizations.

Faith : (1) : firm belief in something for which there is no proof (2) : complete trust

It just seems to me that needing to have faith in something is an admission that NO Proof exists to confirm something as absolute fact...yes? no?

I went to the library today looking for books on buddhism. Although, buddhism isn't really a religion, I want to impliment it in my life. So, I couldn't find any Buddhism books so I asked the lady at the front desk "Do you have any books on Buddhism?"
SHe started laughing along side another lady that was standing beside her, and she said "Honey, I don't think so" while still laughing. And I was standing there, wondering WTH was so funny?!?!

A short time ago I asked a question about the Flying Spaghetti Monster and I was amazed to discover that atheists and agnostics appear to have no understanding of when or why this parody was created.

If Christians are so against abortion, then why won't they approve of homosexual couples adopting children? Every state is filled with children who want and need loving homes. Why then do bigots who scream abortion is wrong, also won't let these unfortunate children have loving homes by homosexuals? It doesn't make sense.

The Bible seems to say that I can have slaves, but I never see any Christians in my town with slaves. Someone explain to me please.

"Your male and female slaves are to come from the nations around you; from them you may buy slaves. You may also buy some of the temporary residents living among you and members of their clans born in your country, and they will become your property. You can will them to your children as inherited property and can make them slaves for life."
- Leviticus 25:44

"Bid slaves to be submissive to their masters and to give satisfaction in every respect; they are not to be refractory, nor to pilfer, but to show entire and true fidelity."

I mean, I ask about Noah and I hear all about animals being saved because they where innocent without sin. Then what happens when a dog humps another male dog? If that Dog is gay, isn't he committing a sin? If not, why are Christian's always bashing gay people? If dogs, cats, and monkeys can all do these gay acts - why not man or woman?

Originally, atheists argued that if one accepts the existence of God with little to no evidence, then one is obligated to accept the existence of any preposterous idea like the idea of a Flying Spaghetti Monster.

But the problem is that I don't see much interest in the idea of a Flying Spaghetti Monster from believers in God. Many, if not all of the posts about the FSM are from atheists and agnostics. It appears to me that it is holding the positions of either atheism or agnosticism which condemns one to fruitless discussions about Flying Spaghetti Monsters.
