What parts do you hate? What parts do you like?
Perhaps you should 'shop-around' different churches, and see which one fits you best?!
I don't think that you should worry what other people think (i.e., that you're 'anti-God') - if you know that you have a personal relationship with Jesus, and feel that you're truly saved, then that is all that matters. Pray on it, and you will be guided to where you are supposed to be.

If you don't like the church don't go.Worship somewhere else,at home, wherever you feel is suitable. Churches are just man-made places of worship, in God's eyes you are the church, in every action you perform each day, good or evil. I expect when you die you're not going to be judged on how many times you were at church although your minister/priest or whatever is going to say otherwise but that's in his own best interests, Many holy people could not have spent much time in a church as for hundreds of years after Christ's death there were damn few of them(churches). As for your name well you could get married or change it by deed poll or just get used to it, its not a bad last name.

Do you hate God? I was a Christian and now I am a Muslim. I was a Christian for 40 years and now I am a Muslim. Guess what? Same God. So no matter the church, the location, the preacher, the building, the books, it is the same God, one God. Have a relationship with God. You can go to church and endure whatever it is that you don't like in order to get along with family and friends but believe in God truly and form a personal bond with God above all other superficial and earthly things.

You might find a BSF (Bible Study Fellowship) that meets near you. They are an international bible study group and they are all over the world. Sometimes there are waiting lists to get into a group, but it is well worth the wait to get in. It is not boring. It will also give you time to find a church that you like with out totally checking out of the religious scene. Good luck and blessing to you!

Seek a better Church, not every church is perfect, but as long as you seek god in earnest you'll be OK, I'm Christian as well, but a have a higher regard for God than I do with Churches.

Nicole...
No Church is perfect, it's full of people like us...Human. They aren't country clubs...they are more like hospitals. The sick, wounded...broken hearted and those that truly want to follow Christ show up for healing and teachings. :o)
If you can't fix things at your current Church I would recommend changing Churches.
Personally, I would seek a Spirit filled Church, that teaches from the Holy Bible only. One that urges relationship with Jesus Christ and pushes away from religion and playing Church.
I've noticed some postings tell you don't worry about going to Church, Hebrews 10:25 tells us not to forsake the assembling of ourselves with other believers. We need to be edified (built up) and going to Church helps to do that.
Someone else posted that the Muslim god is the same as the living God. This is a false statement.
Nicole, please be careful and not be deceived.
Grace to you and God Bless!

Do u mean that you don't wanna be a Christian or just that you don't like your priest? Because there's a BIG difference. If you don't like that church then go to another one. Tell your parents you don't wanna go there because maybe the priest doesn't rally expplain things very well and you want to learn more about our faith. But that priest isn't making you interested but making you ignore what your beliefs are.

Find another church. To plagarise Kingdom of Heaven, I put no stock in religion, what God cares about is what's in your heart and mind. Look, as long as you're following the Bible (God's word) and trying to live right, your church has no reason to be angry at you. The sad thing is, Christians can, at times, be intolerant towards their own. They are seldom intolerant towards non-christians, they just state the truth, that right is right and wrong is wrong, but they can be harsh towards those who disagree with them on small points of religion.
