How terribly sad! I don't understand why your children would desert you! Children love unconditionaly! Are they grown? Are they just after Dad's money? Believe me, if Dad was an *sshole to you, don't you think sooner or later, the kids will find out he's an *sshole to them? And maybe they're playing your heartstrings against you, to see if you'll soften the rules. My daughter told me she wanted to live with Grandma, I told her to "Go for it!" About a month later, she was crying to come home! As far as "everything" goes...you are ALIVE! He didn't take that! Some husbands do! They murder their wives, or even worse they stay married to them, have affairs, and s-o-w-l-y steal their wives lives away over years and years! You're over the hardest part! You got rid of the jerk! Now gather close friends, and heal the bruised heart. Pour some champane, and tomorrow pull out the want ads and test your strength! You are a young woman still! ROAR! WE are they ones who hunt and kill! in the lion's pride! Be a lioness! Show the *ss you're better than this! GOOD LUCK! With all my heart from a woman who's been thru worse! and lived to tell!

I am so sorry. I am 51 and I have to look for a job as well.
I hope things work out for you.

Sometimes you need to find strength in God.

Maybe you should read the story of Noami in the book of Ruth, Porr Naomi felt God gave her blow after blow and all along God was hammering her out for His glory and her good

there is a wonderful play at the Sight and Sound theater in Lancaster PA area about Ruth... if you live anywhere near there I would recommend seeing if a friend might take you... it will make you feel better

When you've lost everything material, remember the ONLY ONE who can keep you is JESUS!!!!! Look @ Job, God allowed Satan to tempt Job and he withstood it all. Why you ask? B/c his solid rock goes by the name of GOD (remember Job was before Jesus was born). So Baby girl when all else fails "Look to the Hills, from which cometh your help! That includes family, friends, etc...Jesus will never leave you, now that you're down, The Father is trying to humble you, so that you ONLY look to Him! When he delivers to you what he has for you u will be amazed and testify to any & everyone!!See people make the mistake of believing that people can pick them up, yet, they're like drugs and alcohol, when they are gone and you are alone who you got? You and the LORD!!! He is the way , the truth and the Light and no man comes to the Father, but by Him! Stay in the word of GOD, not the lies of man/women, read it for yourself

I would just look into myself and see who you really are.

It sounds like you have hit some kind of rock-bottom. The only one who can help you is you. I don't know if you are religious, I've heard that helps some people...but I don't recommend a brainwashing when you need some simple soul-searching. You have to believe that you were meant for more than suffering.

Good luck to you, I do wish you the best.

If you are 50, the kids should have been able to support themselves and not sponge off you or dad. Find another job, tell them all to kiss your @$$ and then get a facial, have your nails done and enjoy life.

Sounds difficult.

If you have some good friends, move in with them for a while until you can find a new job.

Save some money, get your own place, and start over.

When I'm down I do everything in my power to get up again. You are on your own this means independence, new opportunities.

When you ain't got nothing you've got nothing to lose (Bob Dylan)

There is always tomorrow (Me)

Good Luck (Me again)
