It looks to me like you are the one trying to change the subject, devlsadvoct. If you go to http://www.venganza.org/ and look at the masthead of that page, that is a parody of a Michaelangelo fresco.

Ash: devlsadvocate thinks Michaelangelo supports the teaching of intelligent design in public schools in Kansas. I think this is an anachronism.

devlsadvoct: If you don't understand, maybe you shouldn't be running around casting insults.

You claim that the site www.venganza.org makes a clear distinction between the intelligent design movement and religion in general. I am arguing that it does not because, as many other people have pointed out, Michaelangelo lived before Darwin and thus prior to any debate about Evolution.

None there both in different eras. I think Michaelangelo painted the Sistine Chapel around the romanticism era.I think darwin came about a little later.

Many art historians will tell you he had lots of help- I've heard it a lot. However I was recently in Italy and saw the Sistine Chapel. We asked the guide if he had help and she frevently denied it- I guess they like to keep their heroes. I think he most likely had help because he finished it so quickly. Of course, frescoes have to be done rapidly due to their nature.

Unless he was psychic, none. Michaelangelo died before Darwin was born.

I'm sorry, I appear to be missing the point? What does Michealangelo have to do with Darwin?

The same number of times Jesus looked up at the painting and said "Hey, I'm Naked!"
