Yes. But have you read the Kansas School Board's response? They commend the FSM supporters and criticize the Creationism supporters.

Yes, I have read the whole thing.
I never just jump on band wagons without first doing research. Therefore, when my atheist friend mentioned the FSM, I went home and researched it.

Fact: 1) On average, people are dumb.
Fact: 2) Atheists/Agnostics are people.
Fact: 3) Atheists/Agnostics are moderately more intelligent than the average person.
Therefore: 4) Atheists/Agnostics are moderately less dumb than the average person...and that's about it. Don't expect them to understand much of anything, Flying Spaghetti Monster or otherwise.

You said that it was a parody of religion...
it's a parody of the logic of teaching creationism in pubilc school.
These are not the same.
