Does this make the war on Islamo-fascist terrorism- or whatever euphemism you use- basically a war of our god vs. their god? Does anyone really believe that God takes sides?

That's what the Bible says...If you have already decided to choose a LIE rather than the truth of God, THEN GOD WILL HELP YOU DO IT!
Here's the Scripture:
"...because they receved not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And FOR THIS CAUSE God shall send them strong delusion in order that they might believe a lie...so that all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness...." (2Thess. 2:11)

So go right ahead you folks who are here on this forum so proud to let everyone know how you hate God and His truth..... You are only hurting yourself...
So go right head....
Its totally your chioce ....
and you will have noone else to blame but yourself....
God will even help you out if you reject Him by letting you be deluded so you can have no excuse when you are damned.

So go ahead and curse and rage on how you hate God and the Bible. It REALLY doesn't bother us who know God one bit....just remember its YOUR decision.

I have been in a sexual relationship with my guy for some time now, and we live together. If he is not ready to marry , do I move out and stop having sex?

I figure they must either really love their jobs or really hate it--nothing in between.

So, Jesus was sent to die for our sins. What would've happened if he didn't? Would all of mankind throughout history be damned to hell? Would we keep having children and have them damned too? An eternal punishment for every future person? Sorry if I sound ignorant, It's been along time since I read the bible. Thanks.

I was just told that this is not a concept from the Bible. I have studied the Bible, with a special emphasis on the End Times and the books of Revelation and Daniel specifically. What is your opinion? Is the rapture something that will come to pass according to the Bible? You don't have to agree that it is going to happen; the question is whether or not the Bible points to a concept similar to what we refer to as the rapture of Christians to be with Christ

The way some of their posts sound, it doesn't seem like the concept of "radical christianity" is too far away, and soon we'll have them strapping on bombs to blow up buses of "sinners". This is not a jab at the nice Christians, there are some very good ones out there....

I have a boyfriend, and I love him to death. He is theman that all my friends and I have ever wanted and more. But I am really feeling pulled towards a religious life as a cloistered nun. How do I tell him that when I am 18, I might be leaving him for a convent? We met through the church we go to, and I know that he is open to being a priest, so he might understand a litlle bit better than other guys. Should I just come out and say it, or should I kind of build up to it in a convo?

Gorgeous, beautiful fine art photographs located right on the rim. It is so joyful and wonderful. You should see it if you haven't.

The Grand Canyon is my church. It is so spiritual and natural. Whenever I get a chance to stand on it's rim my spirit is recharged and I can go on with peace.

If you didn't have a Father or a terrible one, I know that feeling, I know that missing piece in your life. Mine was an abusive drunk beyond belief. If thats you I'd like to share what I have learned. Give your children exactly what we craved..love them like crazy, love them lavishly, love them extravegantly..without hesitation and I promise you it will be returned. I know the fear of having children and repeating the cycle..FEAR NOT...you know what they need it was the very thing we wanted...that's the key! I've rasied 3 beauitful children and they walked in love everyday of their life with me..they never knew a day I didn't tell them I love you..and made them feel like the gift they are..I would tell them how I felt when they were born...I just loved them like crazy EVERYDAY..I never raised my voice to them..I was never like my father..the thing I feared..it's all about LOVE...it never fails!!!!!

Sorry for so long..I just felt someone might need this.

Do you agree?

... and you had to choose between saving the original copy of the bible, signed by Jesus himself. Or some poor atheist bastard.
Which would you pick?

It is no secret that many fundamentalist Christians believe that sexual abstinence is the only acceptable choice for unmarried people. Religious conservatives at the Center for Disease Control (appointed by the Bush administration) are afraid that anything that might lessen the risks of sex might encourage liberal sexual behavior. They have even said that they would seriously consider preventing the distribution of newly-developed vaccines to protect against STDs. Even if we found a vaccine for the HIV virus, they might try to block its use. Is moral opposition to pre-marital sex so important that we should let people die of STDs rather than allow vaccines to be used? Would Jesus refuse to cure people with STDs? I would especially like to hear from conservative Christians and Bush supporters. If you had the power, would you withhold medical technology that could cure STDs?

Please excuse my ignorance, I just noticed that some people say that they were saved by "Gods grace alone". What does that really mean? I've also seen a few people state that "God didn't have to save me, he condescended to do so." Can anyone help me understand?
I'm sincerely curious. Thanks.

I understand there is a bill that is trying to be passed that would make it a court-martial offense for servicemen and women to pray in the name of Jesus because it might offend someone of another faith. Of course praying in and of itself might be offensive to some so I guess next praying at all will get you court-martialed.

I am not bragging..........maybe a lil bit..

I am the apple of his eye...God spoils me like crazy. He is so in love with me..I can't believe it.

My heart is so full of his love...it's like a warm blanket on a cold night.

He is always there for me...all my friends tell me that I have the favor of the Lord in everything!

Here I am serving God now for 36 years now and he is still crazy over me!

My faith in him is overwhelming...2 weeks ago I ran out of gas on Rt 32 in Pike County Ohio...miles from the nearest gas station..it was getting dark and there was hardly any traffic..I sat that for a second and thought "Lord how are you going to get me out of THIS ONE...I waited for 1 minute and a lady stopped...a ministers wife..she was in a truck and just happended to have 4 gallons of gas in a can.

Then I got to minister to her for about 30 mintues..she was crying..because I gave her an answer she was praying about..WOW!

Is God good or what?
