Me thinks the Bible is probably intended to show each one his own error, and then supply the info to correct it.

But, it also show's one how to identify those that are either unrepentant or wicked so as to avoid the close association that would lead oneself to do likewise.

There is also this point that through skillful and tactful use the word of God can be used to help guide others to see the need for repentance..

And, the Bible is useful for sharpening each others minds, so as to help each other become mature in our thinking.

Everything is in the intent. Is it meant to attack the other person by using a deity that has been projected with the attack? What is meant by 'sin'? Not everyone believes in religions that present a judgemental god that punishes for sin; so, again, we need to consider intent and semantics. Consider this: if an Islamic fundamentalist said it was a fact that you are a sinner for not believing that women should wear burqas, what would you think of the 'fact'?

The first thing that someone should be considering is whether the idea of sin is actually real.

If God is supposed to be perfect how could She have made anything or anyone that wasn't.
Think about it. The idea of sin assumes certain things about God that seem highly unlikely.
All this talk about sin sounds like a bunch of nonsense to me.

First it assumes a God who is too incompetent to organize a simple educational field excursion and figure out a way to get all of the students home safely.

How likely is this that God would not be smart enough to come up with a plan for our salvation that is going to work?

It also assumes that God must have created us imperfect if we are sinners.

One might assume that God would be able to create someone perfect each and every time if he chose to. Assuming God is capable of this, then it follows logically that we must be perfect creations if we are actually creations of this perfect God.

Unless of course you are saying that God chose to create us imperfect.

If God created us imperfect then anything that may go wrong is Gods fault, not ours. This seems a bit illogical at best so I think that we need to assume that What God creates would have to be perfect.

If this is the case and Gods creations are perfect, then nothing that we can do could change what God created perfect and make it imperfect unless we think that we are more powerful than God is.

How likely is it that we the creation could be more powerful than the creator. I personally find this idea somewhat amusing, and a bit absurd.

Religion tells us that God is perfect. If this is true then it could hardly be logically for Gods creations to be considered to be anything less than perfect.

If this is the case then Nothing that we can ever do could possibly change this perfection that God willed, unless we were so powerful that our choices could override and change the will of God.

How likely is that????

Think about it.

The idea of sin is simple nonsense; a lie made up about God by religion.

Since we are all sinners including the Christian making the statement, he is just stating a fact.

However if the person treats you badly because he thinks he is better than you then he is not being a Christian.

With love in Christ.

Nope just being arrogant. Some go around with the notion that 'being a Christian' gives you the god-given-right to accuse others of sinning when it clearly states in their text book the opposite.

if he says you are sinner , then he's not christian , a christian person is the one who believes that god is the only one who judges you.

God is the only one who has the right to judge because he knows everything.. A person no matter how much knowledge he/she has will never replace god's way.

that is the biggest problems in christians....they believe priest can clean human sins.. thats examples of judgemental too..ONLY GOD CAN JUDGE US!!!

if u read bible, JESUS NEVER EVEN ONCE TALKED ABOUT ORIGINAL SIN AT ALL...

but somehow, some people had created the idea of original sins..
and people believe all born babies are sinful...

come on.. God aint full of hatred and monsterous to make human suffered because of his hatred towards Adam and eves and also kill his own son to forgive..

thtas all the ideology of Paul which never ever been teached by Jesus in Bible!!!

God is loving and forgiveful..born babies are purely holy and God has forgive adam and eves...GOd never let Jesus killed...

it can go both ways
if a Christian stated that you are going to hell then yes he/she has judged you
but to state that something is a sin can mean an opinion
