"You are correct. Just like the word 'Bible' does not appear in the Bible. Just like the word 'rapture' does not occur in the Bible."

The word "bible" means "book," and the rapture is not a Biblical concept. You fail.

why would the word "book" have to appear in a book?

a personal relationship with Jesus is merely a method of stating that as a christian, i not only believe in His divinity, but take the time to know His word and deeds.

as for the word "rapture", you are correct that it does not appear in the bible. rather, the rapture is a concept that SOME religious organizations accept from the statements of saint john, when he spoke of the three resurrections. 1) the sea giving up it's dead 2) the land giving up it's dead and 3) Christ delivering the chosen (or saved) before the final battle of armageddon.

while you are correct in your statements, you are entirely off base in the meaning that you created.

You are correct. Just like the word 'Bible' does not appear in the Bible. Just like the word 'rapture' does not occur in the Bible. The thought is there, that a personal relationship with Jesus Christ is necessary for salvation, but those specific words are not there.

Kind of like when my mom used to say: "Dinner's ready." She didn't say 'come eat,' but I knew what she meant.

Personal relationship with Jesus can be derived from Matthew 7:23 ("I never knew you, depart from me ye who work iniquity.")

"Rapture" comes from the Latin vulgate of the text. The Latin RAPTUROS means to be snatched away violently, or suddenly.
1 Thessalonians 4:17...the greek equivilent is "harpazos"...
Christians will be "caught up together."

Your arguments are empty and manipulative. Like RAGU Spaghetti Sauce commercials? "IT'S IN THERE."

From Genesis to Revelation the central theme is a personal relationship with God.

We are the Bride of Christ, how much more of a personal relationship could you find.

OK here's is some places.

I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

Rom 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

Rom 8:17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with [him], that we may be also glorified together.

The Story Of the prodigal son.

Rev 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

Rev 19:8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

Rev 19:9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed [are] they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

Jhn 15:15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

There are hundreds more. Shall I continue?

God bless ya!

neither do the words computer or internet...... but we still have them also..... the mere idea that because a modern phrase or a specific term does not appear in the scriptures does not mean that situation does not exist.... one day when you your self have a personal realationship with Christ..... then and only then will you understand.... and before you say "that aint going to happen" understand this..... in many years in the ministry... i have found over time that the most staunch opponents of Christianity... make very powerful warriors for God once Jesus enters their hearts..... take a look at Paul :)))
God bless you will be keeping you in prayer

Shhh...
John 14:6-7
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him."

Fundamentalists of any religion are really really annoying. They are idiots as well. It doesn't say that in the bible, nor does it say that gay marrige is wrong.

23 Jesus replied, "Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. 24 Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me. From John Chapter 14.

I love Him and that's pretty personal for me.

Jesus said to them, "If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and now am here. I have not come on my own; but he sent me. -John 8:42

You cant love Jesus without being involved with him in prayer. IE: a personal relationship.
